On your photo of your drift is that sand waves on the bottom or what is the bottom. Thanks. I’m from south jersey and looking for a fluke trip in late August.

Hi Robert! Yes. Those are sandwaves. There is a small hump on the edge of the drop off that all the fluke were relating to. We'd love to have you book a trip with us. It's always a great time. Thanks again for watching! - JT

J.T. - love you videos. With your rigs for Fluke, do you tie a barrel swivel to get the braid to Flouro, or do you tie a knot directly binding the braid and flouro together, if so what knot do you use? Thanks !!

Thank you very much bud! As of late, I have been using a carrot knot and tying the braid directly to the Fluorocarbon. Check out this video where I talk all about it! Thanks a lot for watching! kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJXSdmCqlsl-idEsi=AN4iRPQZzXzrjqfc

Great Conditions, looks like you had the area to yourself. Have you gotten a double digit fluke from the sound before ? I fish the sound out of port jefferson and fluke fishing has been great. I'm still looking for my double digit.

Hi James! I have indeed caught double digits in the sound. As a matter of fact, my biggest Fluke ever came from six mile reef. It weighed 13.81 lbs. Keep trying different area and I'm sure you'll find a double d with your name on it. Thanks again for watching! - Capt. JT
