Hey, this is really cool What if instead of immediately dying after each door, you just always had a second chance perk on you? You’d only lose if you die. Granted, that would turn this into more of a gauntlet, but a gauntlet is more fun than having a 50/50 of dying at any second. That way, going through the right door is even more relieving, because it feels like “I get to skip that really hard enemy!” Instead of “Ok, I guess I can progress further.” And, as a bonus, if your streak for choosing correct doors keep going up, then you get a small reward, like a weapon or something. The music is pretty good, but I don’t really like the ominous one. The constant clanging is more frustrating than creepy. Maybe because it sounds more like a cartoony sound effect than an ambient effect. I don’t know if the music is from somewhere else or if you made it, so this is just constructive criticism. One more thing: I wish the battlefield had more stuff in it, like trees or columns. Fighting Hinoxes is nerfed because they aren’t in their element, instead being in a completely barren dungeon. I would really appreciate talking to you about this! I love analyzing game development, and the fact that you modded an entire game into another one is amazing.

The ominous music is the music from Skyward Sword when the Guardians of the Silent Realm are hunting you. It doesn't really have the same effect if you know exactly what's going to happen as soon as you start hearing it.

The fighting music is from skyward sword like the other comment said but seriously if you haven’t played skyward sword and experienced the spirit realm, you haven’t experienced true gamer anxiety. That music immediately makes my heart race so I personally think it’s an excellent choice when faced with doom, however it’s only bc I played SS so much and also have an anxiety disorder lol but maybe vary the music a bit?

@@Flyjaxx The track works so well in Skyward Sword because of how tense the situation already is. That's why I said the music doesn't have the same effect if you know exactly what's going to happen. In the Silent Realm when the Guardians are hunting you, it's possible to recover from that situation, but at the same time you _know_ you're being hunted. Specifically, you know you're being hunted by hulking things that move about as fast as Link can sprint, and by floating things that move rather slowly but can go anywhere and ignore collision. It's a combination of many factors that already creates a lot of tension, and the music just adds a bit of spice to that. Meanwhile here, it's just a bunch of clanging sounds while you're waiting for Link to die, waiting for Link to be thrown into a battle, or fighting said battle. For the first two, you know what's coming so there's no tension. For the last one, it just makes this clangy track a fight track, and that doesn't mesh at all.

First I thought it was something about the fog effect, then whether or not there’s a torch, then if there’s a torch on the floor or the wall, then the color of the door, then the color of the room, then the color of door AND room, but none of it seemed to match.

Hmmm..it's really cool! You know I kept watching the video trying to figure out the pattern to the correct door and I noticed something. In botw there's always the temperature meter on the right. In cold/hot environments the meter would change. I noticed this the first time I played this game whenever I sat next to a campfire. There are some torches lying around in the dungeon. When Link walks next to it, the temperature rises up. I noticed that whenever you enter the wrong room and meet your doom, there's always a small fire/campfire/lantern on the ground. So... could it be that if we get close enough to the door without op it..would the meter rise or not? Would the game pick up the heat from the fire on the other side or not? I've played this game a lot but I'm no expert and I don't know if it does keep track of the temperature through objects/doors but in the video you keep going through doors too fast. The moment you approach the door you open it and the meter dissappear! I may be wrong, but if I were to play the mod I would stuck my face on each door and see if the temperature rises up 😝😋 I may be wrong but hey it's a really cool mod man 👍

I watched the video a little bit after reading this comment, but unfortunately it's not very consistent. It almost looks like a game of "hot and cold" and it would seem as though it works, but there were times the temperature would stay neutral when entering some doors. And that was when it was a room without a fire in it between the doors.

My best guess is that the rooms color usually doesnt matter, its the outline of the doors and the door color (the closest one to it), but first you gotta check if there's a chest torch or anything, e.g chests=right zelda=right big ground torch=left, etc...

I've spent a long time studying this for the "Secret to the correct door" At first, I thought it had something to do with the color of the walls or doors, but multiple times you would come across a room with two of the same color doors. Then I thought it would have something to do with the objects/NPCs in the room, but that didn't stay consistent either. In the end, I came to the conclusion that there is no secret, and you have to guess randomly. If there is a secret, it's very complicated. #DODGiveaway SawyerR13#6638

@@Waikuteru 4 is my favorite of the MP games; I feel like it retained a lot of the classic feeling of the first three games, but brought it into the "modern" age overall. :) Imagine a modded shrine for BOTW that adds a form of the Booksquirm minigame to it, where Link has to dart between holes in the pages of a "book" (could be something shrine-themed instead) and if he doesn't, he gets squished.

I’ve played and finished Skyward Sword, and I hated those guardians. While I understand the reason Nintendo added those, they made it frustrating for me and I almost felt like giving up on the game. But I dealt with them, and I’m glad that they’re not real.

i think i may have figured this out, but correct me if i’m wrong. notice how for every door, if link runs through it very quickly he survives, but if he stops and slows down then it kills him, so i’m wondering if it’s based on the speed at which you go through the doors, not any kind of indicator on the doors themselves

You can’t cancel the fact that you already opened that specific door, so i don’t think it would be much of a help.

Sowohl PC als auch Konsole. Mods gibt es für beide Plattformen. Müsstest mal ein Tutorial finden.
