The Impalas "Sorry (I Ran All The Way Home)" Live - 1987

The Impalas (Original lead Joe "Speedo" Frazier with Randy Silverman, John Monforte and Rocky Shaw) perform the group's 1959 hit, "Sorry (I Ran All The Way Home)" at a United in Group Harmony Association event at DeWitt Clinton High School in Bronx, New York on April 11, 1987. Frazier died in 2014.

This song was written by the late Harry Giosasi, who, along with his sister Irene - had been Gino & Gina ("It's Been A Long Time (Pretty Baby)." I played with them briefly apprx 1960. -Pete Antell

I remember standing in the Lew Wallace schoolyard, albuquerque. when this came over a 9V transitor before the school bell to go in....and that older baca brother was "escorting" his bro Joseph to school. LOL 😎we were in Mr Sandoval's class. yeah! gr-grannyNM
