Dopa's Secrets to DOMINATE Every Single Matchup!

Hey guys, this video goes through laning against every kind of Melee Champs!
Of course, laning isn't fixed, and in the next 1 or 2 vids. I will talk about how Dopa adjusts and alters his laning to combat different circumstances in game, and some of his secret lv1 to lv 3 wave manipulation to exploit against certain champs.
And of course a video of how to lane and manipulate the wave against every single range matchups in this month!

Most of the time, you just try to stay healthy and soak xp until lv 3 where you look for an all in. There's a lot more depending on the specific matchups but this is the general premise.

Again, I can't say much without knowing the matchup, but for example let's look at Kass vs Lucian. Lucian is an early game bully with good pushing power, while Kass can't really push without running OOM and still loses at level 3. At the start of the lane, I probably would try to sneak a raptor ward as you're gonna be perma pushed in. After that, just stay right at the edge of xp range (the same as vex passive range) because any Lucian with half a brain cell will chunk you to half for a single CS. Let him push in then farm under tower. Beware that he can still poke you from outside tower. The only exception where you can stand anywhere close to his range is if he walks up straight in your wave to poke, in which case you'd try to return damage with Q then immediately walk away while your minions chunk him. While you probably still lose the trade, your wave hitting Lucian instead of his wave means that it's gonna push to you faster. Also, because Kass is so weak early, you actually can't engage at lv 3. The only kill potential possible is if you have ignite and a strong early ganker jg, but I'd probably take teleport to stay in lane. After that, you're playing a hyper scaler versus someone who doesn't scale at all. It's not rocket science. I'm iron tho, so all of this might be completely wrong (especially the early ward part)

Why doesn’t ekko heavy trade with Dopa to threaten kill and get easier push for wave?

ekko loses heavy trade as melee vs ranged if he doesn't actually kill him right then and there. in addition, being low in a TF lane is just asking to get ganked. i'd imagine ideally TF's plan is to stay healthy and poke ekko while pushing so ekko can't all in on the rebound or roam effectively, and so he can R or set up gank, while ekko's plan is to poke TF for an all-in after setting up long lane (crash, let enemy push back, prevent crash) OR stay healthy and roam. heavy trade prevents ekko from roaming effectively and the amount of time needed to force a kill via wave-macro, especially as melee vs ranged, means threat of enemy jg gank is very high
