This was a good excuse to add some more powers to blade in an organic way - btw who remembers Dracula in his deadpool induced depression? I mean he was down bad for a while 😆. They're hated enemies and they're just chillin', chef's kiss lol. I like that Dracula on some level is also seeing this as an opportunity to make Blade pull more to his side and hell yes a blade/ hulk crossover will be pure fire. Marvel is honestly surprising me of late. Top marks for the Blade writer and team putting in work.

It is very refreshing to see Blade go through a "2nd mutation" of turning into limited "fog teleportation" and further enhanced feral-rage strength thru his vampire genetics, perhaps even adding hypnosis and maybe limited remote control over humans he bites. I have been a huge fan of Marvel's "darker comics" like Tomb of Dracula for years. But I don't think he really fits on an Avengers team. He's more believable like in this comic dealing with vampires and other supernatural villains. That being said, I can't ever picture Blade and Dracula working with each other for any reason. Too many decades of mutual hatred and trying to kill each other.
