They need to explain The Celestial Toymaker to the modern viewer, have the Doctor battle him, as well as the reason for 14 having the same face as 10 still needs explaining before Tennant regenerates, and we also need to be introduced to Gatwa. Next episode will be difficult to pull off as a well written success considering the weight on its shoulders.

For what it's worth, there's a priest in "The Massacre" that looks exactly like the First Doctor. Not a real doppelganger, but a lookalike. The Daleks also used a "Doctor Duplicate" in "The Chase". The Second Doctor also had a lookalike in "Salamander" in "The enemy of the World". I don't know many of the others. but it might also be worth looking into "Doctor Ogron" for a fun surprise :)

There was also the 4th Doctor story Meglos. I don't remember the details but it's something like a sentient shapeshifting cactus. If we're including lookalikes, Colin Baker played a Time Lord called Maxil before becoming the Doctor.

Why didn't you include any classic era "doppelganger" Doctor clips? Without even really thinking about it The Massacre, Enemy of the World, The Android Invasion, The Invisible Enemy, Meglos, and Arc of Infinity just sprang to mind as examples where this has happened as significant plot elements. Such a missed opportunity that might even result in more sales. It's that myth that newer fans don't care about the classic era. I find it to be quite the opposite in most cases. Every new generation of fans eventually digs into the past of the show. We all do it regardless of age. I know very young fans that are even more interested in episodes from the 60s 70s and 80s then a lot of older fans. My 21 year old niece just started on An Unearthly Child and plans on watching everything from the last 60 years in order that she can get her hands on. Her first Doctor was Matt Smith. I can think of at least another of 10 examples of this sort of thing of people that I know personally. This doesn't include the dozens of other examples I can think of younger fans on KZbin who have classic era physical media collections that would make any older fans collections look sparse. It's one of the beauties of the show that you can jump on it anytime and continue to go forward or go backward or every which way and almost all casual viewers that actually turn into fans end up doing this and even some of them end up doing it which eventually turns them into lifelong fans. The people that put this together either don't understand this, don't love the show like they should, or at the very least don't like making money. Not being able to dig back through the back catalogue easily outside of the UK now who can do it through BBCi is just going to lead people to end up using more clandestine means to do so. I was happy to see it show up on Tubi, but most of it's missing and why isn't the modern era at least on Disney+ who aren't even properly marketing the new stuff. It's like you've got several drunk people making all these decisions.

It wasn’t at the same time. Colin Baker played Commander Maxil in the 5th Doctor episode ‘Arc of Infinity,’ then was later cast as the 6th Doctor. Much like how Peter Capaldi first appeared as Caecilius in Fires of Pompeii.

As others have said, that story is not the same actor as it's current Doctor, however there are several classic who doppelgangers that this video snubbed. Mostly of the fourth Doctor. There's a cactus man named Meglos that took the form of the Fourth Doctor. The Fourth Doctor made a clone of himself to shrink down into his own body to defeat a sapient virus. The Fourth Doctor also faced a robot duplicate of himself, a computer that had his face and thought he was him, and unless I'm mistaken, a Zygon as well... As for other Doctors, when 5 faced Omega he stole his appearance but started to decay because the process hadn't completed, and 2 faced against a dictator that inexplicably looked identical to him. And that is by no means an exhaustive list. Just what I can remember off the top of my head.
