@@_Nacho__ If I could suggest anything it might be randomize who lives where if you aren't adding a full story or anything. I feel like it would add little to the game to not just on it is X they in floor 2 -2, since if they could in f1 1-4, floor 2 -1-4 etc... you would still need to check the paper (I understand if the pairings can't be changed) also if possible double the number of pairings but only 12 apparments are used for any given run so to summerize more concisely if the game currently has 12 apparments, and 21 residents try to up it to 42 possible residents, and apparment being random in stead of mia always being on like floor 3 apparment 1. Just feel it would help with keeping people checking the documents

I'm kinda wondering what would happen if you had a medical condition in this universe. Like, if you broke your nose, or had pink eye, or had to undergo surgery around your head/face. Would you need to show the guard a doctor's note? What if you didn't go to the hospital? Also what's stopping the doppelgangers from fabricating a doctor's note? People must also be very self conscious about their appearances. Maybe people would be very wary of staying out in the sun too long, lest they get suntanned. Maybe changing hairstyles or hair colour is a very big decision to make. So many interesting implications to this world.

But it does seem like there's a story going on in the background of the game similar to Paper's Please because that one hinted that there's something bigger going on. Edit: also, I guess the "emergency at work" thing can be a legit reason why someone might not have been on the list, you just have to verify if they're in the building or not.

Not having played this myself. I say the trick is that when everything seems to be in order, even if they are on the list, lie and say they're not. Call their residence afterwards. That way you'll know for a fact it's them and not a doppelganger. The lie might make them slip up, and the call will be a double check just in case.

I'm very glad to see you playing this game again. I'm having a lot of fun watching this mini series you're making out of this game. It seems that the game is progressively building more story and lore as you play. I love how this indie game continues to give you more surprises. Not sure if you'd continue playing this or not but it was fun watching. Just noticed the first Gloria's nose was bigger then the one showed in the room. That's the only noticable doppelganger I saw.

How does someone go into overtime if it's the middle of the day?

For example a military pilot could be called in to battle stations and just wait on stand by in their plane without taking off. Or a civilian pilot could be called in to a nearby ATC to help with instructing a landing through radio. Or to replace a crew member but the emergency is solved before take off. 2nd and 3rd, this pilot is being called to work FOR AN EMERGENCY. He wasn't ON DUTY. That means no, it's not their shift. They're OFF DUTY, their time off, not working at the moment. That means that once the emergency passes they're free to go back home, and that if they continued working then that would be overtime, regardless of the time of day. Also, bonus point, flights happen at all times of day and with different travel times and schedules. It's not a regular 9 to 5. A pilot could easily go to work at 8pm and return home two days later at 5am.
