With the "DDD are actually doppelgangers" theory, I'd say the one flaw is using seeing the same doppels the next day as evidence. At the beginning of each game, you get the DDD person saying congrats on your new job, which suggests you're just playing the same day over and over. Either that, or you're playing as a new doorman each day. I'm still totally behind the theory, lol, there's something super sketch feeling about DDD.

here's a tip for no folder run: if you have a suspicion that something is wrong with a resident but you can't tell, get rid of them, also, there's technically no need for a list, it's more of a "you should expect these people to arrive" but that's really all it is. also also, technically you don't need the checklist :3 i've completed a run without any of these three, i also never really use the folders if i need them mostly cause i go based off of wether they SEEM ok. another tip would be don't bother with ID number, far as i can tell it's to throw people off, otherwise no-folder challenge would be near impossible also another tip is that from what i could tell, dopplegangers usually have like one area where they're flawed, be it apperance, ID or entry request

Fun fact the reason we see doppelgangers in media have more eyes or mouths can be a few reasons but two of them I think can cover most dopplegangers, religiously dopplegangers are seen as an omen of death, thus all seeing eyes or the angels with the many eyes also get lumped in, another is actually algorithmic funnily enough , involves ai and computers many programs would add extra eyes, an ear or mouths on occasion this would look incredibly surreal and creepy

Here's some silly ways to check the twins when you're doing your folderless run: 1: if you can still check who's on the daily list, those photos will always be accurate, so you can use those to check physical traits on any character on the list (You can also use this for name spellings! and rooms I think) 2: For the twins their one strand on hair on top curls towards their mole 3: Selene's name starts with S and she has the Square earrings 4: for which side the mole is on, this is kind of a stretch, but the E in Elenois kind of looks like it's pointing to the right (like the three bars point to the right I guess?), with the little bracket things and her mole is on the right. Sorry that last one isn't great, but it's the best I could think of You're doing great at this game! I've binged all your videos on it in the last two days and I'm definitely watching your other stuff after :)

Has anyone ran into the problem that some doppels are *literally perfect* and the only way to spot them is by calling the apartment and confirming that the resident in question is already home? Frex, I have Angus on the list today. An Angus appears with his documents all in order, ID not expired and has the right number, both documents have the DDD symbol, name is spelt correctly everywhere, apartment number is correct, his job is correct, no weird misspellings, appearance is as it should be and he's wearing a hat. So obviously I let him in, because there is zero reason to assume he's a doppel. Three neighbors later, an *identical* Angus shows up. Again, everything is perfectly in order, and the only thing that is off is that I already let in an Angus earlier. So I call his apartment and indeed, he picks up the phone, confirms that he's home and not expecting visitors. So the Angus before me is, indeed, a doppel, but there was *nothing* in any way wrong with him, except for the fact that Angus was already home. Now I guess you could argue that this tests your memory. But thinking about the implications, what would've happened if the doppel had shown up *before* the real Angus? Since they're identical, I would've let the doppel in, since nothing was giving away the fact that it's a doppel. And of course calling wouldn't have worked in that case either, since the real Angus hadn't shown up yet. I'm about 99% sure that this is a bug, but has anyone else encountered this? I also had this happen with Arnold at one point, and it killed my run, claiming that there had been no DDD logo. But there was. I specifically took a screenshot of it, because the three doppels before him had *not* had a DDD logo. So his doppel *did have* a DDD logo, but the game claimed it didn't. And when the correct Arnold showed up, because he was identical to the doppel, I phoned the apartment and only found out that the other one had been a doppel because he wasn't home. I'm pretty sure this kind of thing shouldn't happen...?

I think there should be a penalty for calling the apartment, or at least a limitation, like only 2 calls per day, because otherwise, there is no reason to not just call the apartment every time.

They should add something where you need to check attention of what day they work and what day they don't work, something like for example on afton's documents somewhere it says he doesn't work on Monday's and if its Tuesday and he says he had a emergency at work then it's a doppleganger, might be too complicated to add but i'd like to see something where you have to pay attention to what day it is
