Paul Wanders Big Sky is not even close to the lift networks they have in Europe. Big Sky has 31 lifts ish, while the biggest network is 172 lifts at Portes du Soleil in France. Big Sky is number 30 ish in the world lol PC has more too...

I’ve ridden Ramcharger and all the other big sky lifts, and honestly, Powder seeker is better. Ram chargers seats aren’t actually very comfortable, and you can barely notice the seat heating. Not to mention Ramcharger has the capacity of a high speed 6 pack, meaning the whole 8 pack part was just marketing. They could’ve built a 6 pack there and move the same amount of capacity up the mountain.

There are other eight-seat ski lifts in Europe, but this is the first eight-seater in North America and also the first Dopplemayr D-line Direct Drive chairlift in the world. That new gearless drive system makes the lift more energy efficient, quieter and significantly easier to maintain, plus Ramcharger 8 is the first 8 pack chairlift that has its own custom design 5 pack bike carrier system that rides the same line as the chairs do.😲👍🏼

@@XabiExplores we build more than 100+ lifts per year and only film about 15-20. It's a lot of work and a costly thing to send the film crew around. Please understand that we usually only produce clips of special, important or world-record cable cars.

Disney Skyliner isn’t that impressive considering that gondola 🚡 system have been around for years. However heated 8 pack chairlifts is 100% Brand New never ever in the history of chairlifts has there been such technology breakthrough.

Paul Wanders The Disney skyliner is even more impressive than ramcharger as it has separate loading areas, one which loads like normal and another that stops completely for handicapped users. It also has other very unique features like the giant elevated angle station that is just used for turning. it also has hundreds of painted themed cabins that fit 10 people each. The Disney skyliner is such an impressive system, probably the most impressive in North America today.

Nachts bleiben die Sessel nicht am Seil, sondern werden in eine Garage gefahren. Dort gibt es oft mehrere Gleise auf die die Sessel verteilt werden. Dafür muss normalerweise das Personal eingreifen (z.B. Weichen umstellen wenn ein Gleis voll ist), das passiert hier dann automatisch.

I hate these things. Rather than have people waiting in line at the bottom, they move huge numbers of people up onto the mountain and you're faced with those very huge amounts of people all skiing down the mountain all day long. Makes skiing a contact sport.
