Having been a 2000 Doral 270 SC boat owner, I can share that many Dorals have particularly large fresh and black water tanks, one located on the port and one starboard. At the start of a trip the boat may start with a full fresh water tank and return with a full black water tank which could mean a 450 lb difference between port and starboard. This could cause the boat to list to one side or the other.

Does achieving minimum plane speed increase fuel consumption as the trim tabs are pushing against the flow to pull the bow down? Genuine question as not a boater just curious?

Sorry, no fuel consumption info available on this one. Would estimate 30 Ltrs per hr fuel burn at cruising speed (around 25mph), and 50 to 55 ltrs per hr at full speed. Why does it lean so much?

All sorts of reasons - usually a crosswind causes lean, with the boat leaning into the wind. Also uneven loading, tides etc. That’s why these boats have trim tabs to correct lean. It’s totally normal.
