I’m American and made this for my Haitian hubby! He said it was so good, it reminded him of his childhood. Thanks for helping me stay married 🤣😉

OMG! Yesterday it was my lunch. But I ate it with sweet potato. I keep making home food so that my children can know about them. They congratulate me and love them always.

My dad is Haitian and my mom used to make this for us every Saturday for breakfast when we were kids. Randomly thought about it today. Absolutely the best 🤤

When did you at the onions? What brand wild caught salt fish is it
@dorannette263 жыл бұрын
Since, I forgot to add it with the bell peppers and tomatoes. Off camera, I sautéed the onions and added it in towards the end of the cooking time. I use the Wild caught Bacalao Premium Salt Cod Without Bone.

Am wondering why epis is not included in the recipe for a Haitian meal.
@dorannette262 жыл бұрын
Growing up as a little girl I’ve never seen them add epis 🤷🏽♀️to mori! I guess that’s a new generation thing. Do you and let me do me!
@stephyescoful3 ай бұрын
You don't have to add epis if you're using a lot of the ingredients that are already in epis
