Certain "people" don't clean their meat but "we" do. If you wash the chicken with vinegar first you don't need to worry about salmonella. That's advice for people who aren't clean. Vinegar and salt with soap can also be used to clean the sink area and utensils etc. You don't really have to use bleach. Vinegar and Salt are powerful cleaners and germ removers!

I've always cleaned my meat with water, but after seeing the Africans, Haitians, and Jamaicans cleaning the meat with lime, salt 🧂, vinegar, and water 💧. That's how I clean mines now. It makes the meat taste so much better, seriously.

This wonderful! Advice for people that is learning how to cook and clean at the same time. I'm a older American been doing ur method for years, and then some. Sad to know that people still not getting it. Keep teaching to the ones that don't know. This is for chi's, not all Americans are the same! This is not about nationality, it's about healthy eating practice good cleaning habits.Stop the race card. I Know about Haitian history. The food looks delicious!

I do the same. I clean my meat Pork and chicken and always use soap &bleach for cleaning my dishes and sink. And soak my sponges and washcloth afterwards.
