This video has great insights. Today I prompted Claude about learning the core concepts of HTML in a single day. I built several mini projects and just finished a personal portfolio. Now I am ready to move onto CSS. As I continue on my Frontend Development journey, it seems you don't have to know everything about a technology. Learn the fundamentals and learn how to Google the rest.

I am in same situation going back to html ,but I see now better that concentrating on css and JavaScript make more sense at this stage of my learning. Thanks

100% agree! Spend 1 week on HTML, 2 weeks on CSS and then jump on JS ++
@TurmanOmar2 ай бұрын
@ZeinotGamingI think we all agree on that. The point is “dont spend very long time trying to master everything there is to know in html and CSS, but rather jump on learning JS and whatever you need to start building things”. The real learning comes when you start building stuff step by step.

@ZeinotGaming I agree that we should not skip/jump straight into frameworks/libraries, but lets not take the piss by saying raw dom manipulation is better or even enjoyable than using a UI framework. Maybe you are not really building anything complex, but onc eyou need to build something with any form of UI complexity you will need a framework. Why else would every website be using these frameworks? 🙄🙄

I know html and am not a web dev but I like that you are doing more tech based videos. I found your chanel when you were already a digital nomad and that got me interested but i feel like the tech vids give me value that i might even be able to be self employed as well in some years.

Totally agree with this. There is no reason to "master" HTML, just learn how it works as you will improve you HTML by default as you develop. You really just need to know the h1-h6 elements and divs and how to throw a page together. Mastering CSS is actually far more important. You can start finding work just by getting really good at CSS, and your HTMl will improve.

I'm currently learning PHP and Mysql, because I want to learn and get better at coding, manipulating and storing data within a database. But I often wonder if I need to learn HTML, CSS and JS. However, at this point I'm not really interested in learning those technologies. But do I need to in order to have a well rounded skillset?

Emmet is a fast typing tool, for example you can type "li.blue*12" +enter and it will transform into "", but 12 of them at once.
