The Anointing from several decades ago, and only a few years ago is still alive and well. Some folks think the best days of living for God are behind us, I’m glad I’m not one of them, because Jesus says our latter stage shall be greater than our former stage. Therefore, some are so caught up in the past, that they can’t get with the current move of God!! Be blessed and inspired by the past, but some folks make an altar to the past, and never embrace what God is doing now and the future! 😀

People always compare these sisters. They can't compare to each other! They cut from the same cloth! However, the only district differences can be found in their albums. Dorinda does more choir type songs that take it back. She is more jazzy and her voice is best in scatty songs. Twinkie does more orchestrated songs like her mother, which makes her the most loved and the connection of the group. She is the classical, soul singer. She is the only one of them with a lessened more controlled vibrato. Karen sings more rythm and blues with some pop. Her songs allow her room to play around with her voice. She normally does the faster songs that her sisters can't do. She is the R&B singer of the group. Although they can all sing ANYTHING, these are the areas that they shine mostly and which can be found in their CDs. Karen has more influence in the R&B world and she is all of the sisters in one. Although Twinkie is like her mom on CD, she is the originator of their group's sound. Dorinda original voice is a spin off of her mother. They sound like twins. Jackie sounds like her side of the family. Denise sounds like a more Jackie and Twinkie. Just my observations from over 20 years of being a fan! Good Bless these amazing vessels of Christ! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

@@reggiemitchell5198 That’s true, as she had her own awesome sound, and UNBELIEVABLE ad Libs, especially on Pure Gold. After Karen would say, “Though we’re tried in the fire”, Dorinda would say, “We Come”, 😮😮 nobody can duplicate her sound!!! And that song “If You Believe In God” It’s 90% Gorgeous Singing & 10% COGIC preaching, the Sound is unmatchable!! She had her own beautiful unique voice. But when it came time to blend, she was flawless. Dr. Mattie saw the 📞 Calling God placed on their lives! Fifty years later, the biggest in the business like Beyoncé is sampling their music. We know some other races, sample and study their riffs and runs also. In the 80s & 90s, The Clark Sisters and Venessa Bell were doing those awesome riffs and runs. Now everybody is doing what God gave us, but we give God the Glory, but the other folks give Tori Kelly and Jessie J. the credit & glory, but one day I hope they learn!😂
