Dorinda has always had an extremely dark energy about her. It's unfortunate, because she clearly has some generous and kind traits, but the darkness and anger are overwhelming. She has a really disturbing personality + is a massive gaslighter. What would have been so difficult in simply saying to Tamara and Vicky "ladies, I'm feeling frustrated that people are still taking food to their rooms because I'm really worried about mice. Please don't do it anymore, I'd really appreciate that."

I was a HUGE Dorinda stan before and was absolutely gutted when she was put on pause in RHONY, but I’m starting to feel like she should stay on pause. She’s getting too self absorbed and it’s just not fun anymore.. It’s way too condescending and absolutely VICIOUS. I liked her tough New Yorker character but right now she just comes off angry. The anger coming from dorinda isn’t actually even about the food.. that’s the scariest/saddest/deepest part of all.. it’s not even really about the house itself. Or the ‘home’. It’s about her dead husband that she has never properly grieved over.. I don’t think she ever processed his death. She’s always been in an extremely weird place concerning her husband.. & that home is the last piece of him she has left so she’s sooo over protective of it to the point of paranoia & extreme controlling behaviour when it involves that home. He left her that house & I think it’s a constant reminder of him for her. Which is probably overwhelming painful at times just being in that house… hence the outbursts of anger which seem to either come out of nowhere or are over reactions.. she also always drinks a lot to numb herself. The whole thing is just so sad :(
