I NEED those BOOTS! OMG! I just happen to be a size 8 1/2 too and I'm obsessed with 70's glam rock, I can see any member of The Runaways wearing these boots onstage. I know they are probably way out of my price range, but one can dream. Thank you so much for making my day. I dream about boots just like this, it's nice to know they exist in the real world too.

Love, love this channel. My son is an employee at Paramount and I tell him to please tell his bosses to bring back your show!!! You are adorable, delightful and really FUNNY as are your employees . What I loved most was you never knew who would wander in and they were all esteemed in their field or just fun shoppers. Doris, I love your eye And encyclopedic knowledge of fashion. I love how you teach me to put things together in new ways that I already own , say a different colored bra that shows. Loved The Amy Weinstein, jewelry and Google Arts museum, of shows seen thus far. So great!!!! You’re a hoot! XOXO

I love this channel , so happy to see the Dino bell bottom bikini set, the print haunts me. I went back looking for the video with one of your wonderful helpers when you were under the weather and couldnt find it ao happy to see this again !!! Love the jax dresses, the maud frizon boots , the color block purse, the beautiful smocked print mini dress with lace inserts. I am thinking why these shapes and optimism of the sixties is so appealling, essentially this was my first view of adults as a little girl and your examples feel very fresh and contemporary. Always beautiful ,delightful and an opportunity to learn. Thank you Doris! Its worth seeing your videos more than once treasure trove of ideas.

Doris, love the jacket you’re wearing. Holy moly, tough to pick a favorite. But, OMG, when you showed the lilac tunic & pants set it took me right back to when I lived in the dorms at university. 1968. And my suite mate had a dress exactly like that woven material. She wore an absolutely plain slip under it with a different color. Boy, was she cool in that outfit, which she wore on a date. What a hoot for me to see that woven material which I remember so vividly. Thanks again, kiddo.

Another fantastic video, as usual. As a big fan of The Way We Wore, one of my dreams is to one day be inside the store to look around and adore all these vintage pieces. When I looked around the online shop for the contest, there were two things that really really caught my eye. One was the fringed distressed oversized jacket from the 80s and the second one, also from the 80s, is the Genny Evening Jacket with the Green Trim. It reminds me of a Valentino Blazer that I tried on many years ago, but never bought, which I regret to this day. For who ever this gift card goes to, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart and I hope the wonderful piece you get, will bring you lots of joy for many many years :)

thank you Doris and Co. for continuing to put out videos amidst all this craziness, with the continued shutdown and the looting of the store last year, it's really admirable to watch you all keep pushing forward in spite of the circumstances and fills me with hope at a time when hope feels like a scarcity. you are (and have been since LA Frockstars) a joy to watch on screen and this channel is an excellent resource for research. do you own any pieces by Nicolas Ghesquiere? either from his tenure at Balenciaga (or the brief and storied three seasons he spent at Callaghan!) or any Claude Montana? would love to see. Writing from London, UK ♡

Suggestions...? Ok, here’s one, but you may already be doing it... Have regular fashion shows in the store based on a theme, using music from that time and other aids, like video screens with footage from that era. Have tea ☕️ 🫖 and have a celeb show up for the events, or some other special feature each time that can help to draw customers. You can have other fashion historians and designers too, but you are such a wonderful curator and historian yourself, a pleasure to watch your vids.

Happy New Year Doris and please continue to inspire us with your vision. The old me would love to have something from Holly Harp(the green poly 3-piece), Issey Miyake(the pleated cat suit). The new me would love the Bonnie Boerer sweater(with the sequined LA landmarks) with the 80's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" earrings, the Maud Frizon boots and the basket bag for luck. That would float my boat having been a vintage fan for over 30 years. Thank-you for explaining about Andrea Pfister as all these years I thought it was a women's name and Ombelline.
