Doritos Fried Chicken

Chicken and Doritos, there's nothing better!
DORITOS FRIED CHICKEN
Ingredients:
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. (sliced)
1.5 tsp onion powder
1.5 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1.5 tsp white pepper
One 8-9oz bag Nacho Doritos
1 cup Flour
2 Eggs
2/3 cup Milk
Vegetable Oil for frying
Optional: Ranch dressing for dipping
Directions:
Cut chicken into strips 1-2 inches wide and length of a breast.
Crush Doritos so they are the consistency of coarse breadcrumbs.
Set up 3 dishes:
In the first, put 1 cup flour.
In the second, beat egg with milk.
In the third dish, put crushed Dorito crumbs
Toss chicken in seasoning.
Toss chicken in flour and shake off excess.
Dip chicken in the egg mixture. Let excess egg drip off.
Roll chicken in Dorito crumbs. Coat completely. Set aside and repeat with the remaining chicken.
Heat oil to 365 F, or until a drop of water pops at the surface.
Fry for 4-6 minutes, until done. (Internal thermometer reaches 165 F, or chicken is firm when pressed).
Remove chicken from oil and place on paper towels to drain.
Allow to cool a few minutes before serving.

The first time I saw this they used Mayo instead of an egg wash.And baked them for 30 minutes at 350 degrees to cut back on the grease/oil content of deep frying.I tried baking it with ranch dressing instead of the Mayo.And it was awesome.

You don’t even have to do it in bowls .all you do is open up the Crisps packet smash the Crisps packet like she did then put the egg in the bag little bit of milk in the bag and then shake the bag then dip your chicken in the bag .voilà
