I’d imagine the oil washes away a lot of the seasoning from the chips. Maybe they would have better flavor if done in an air fryer.

Nope. I made Flamin' Hot Wings before this was a thing... The crumbs stayed attached, and the flavor was packed in really well. I cut lemon and lime slices for drizzle.. I only had a chance to eat 3 Wings. Safe to say it was a success and I'm requested to make it until this day. I first fried them in 2018 and I didn't use egg wash at all!

I use what I call “Bottom of the Bag Breading.” When all that’s left in the chip bag is crumbs, they go in a separate bag. When I’ve got enough, I food process it all together and it’s fried chicken time!

For a nicer apperance, learn the trick to remove the tendon from the strip. Doing that creates a natural split in the tender. 🎉

The best choice! Delicious😋 I made Flamin' Hot wings in 2018 and still get requested to cook them often lol. The flavor is enhanced with lemon or lime (juice) drizzled over it while it's fresh out of the grease! I didn't use egg wash either.
