It's a reference to Dark Souls 1. Andre was originally going to be a more central character, so they gave him more complex animation. That story was scrapped, but they didn't want to throw out a finished animation, so they kept it. Repeating that in DS3 is just fanservice, but then again, so is Andre being there at all. Fun fact: Andre was *not* the only character in DS1 with a moving mouth, the Daughter of Chaos also had a speaking animation. If you managed to get your eyes up to her face, that is.

My first souls game was dark souls three. I had my friend help me through the game. And when I mean help he did everything for me. I was too terrified to even try and kill the mobs. My friend did a lot of good things to help me out but a big negative he taught me was to hate invaders. Of course at that time I couldn’t defend myself so I was really on board on the hate train. Eventually after a year my friends stop playing any kind of souls game. So I replay dark souls three by myself and then moved over to the original dark souls, which I had difficulty because the game flowed less. But the story was amazing. I started PVP in the original dark souls. I was horrible at it but I still enjoyed it. Then I tried out dark souls two and man I have a love-hate relationship with that game. I even tried PVP but I constantly got hacked. So I never really touched the game after that. Over my years of playing I’ll found a lot of enjoyment helping other people in the form of a spirit. which then later turned into cosplay. Ever since Eldon ring came out I’ve devoted my life to this game. can’t say the PVP was really good when the game came out but it’s much more bearable now. Anyway I rambled for too long. I enjoyed the blast from the past. Every time I rewatch it there’s something else I didn’t see before. I quite enjoy that. Anyway going to move To the DLC video you made.

I feel like this video has explained my experience so far to an eerily accurate degree. Also, great job to the voice actors! I don't know if I just missed some silly dialogue somewhere, but sounds like some additions were made for the video and whoever voiced the Ad-lib lines for the characters did an amazing job. But i'm also talking about those ppl who NEVER played a dark souls, demon souls, Bloodborne or any Dark Souls like game EVER (I once let my 100% newbie friend play DS3 and she couldn't get pass that area at all. The part that finally Broke her was when when she was stupid close to killing a crab and out of nowhere an invader put an arrow in her back which caused her to be interrupted and she got grabbed by the crab.......I've never seen her rage like that ever. After she raged, she put her head in my pillow and just cried and laughed at the same time(happens to all games at some point) after 5 minutes she wanted to play again and she beat the crystal mage)

She did pretty well for someone who was playing for their first time, then. When I first started on Dark Souls 2, I will admit I had a little bit of trouble when I first started, but after the tutorial level, I knew what I was doing. After that, it was a matter of not making stupid choices and following my instincts and judgement in the middle of combat. Once you get used to the game, it's easier and is more fun, even if it does take someone a while to get used to the game.

Here's a summary of all the Easter eggs I found in this video. Tell me if I missed any. Thanks for all the responses guys. I read through all the replies over the years and have spent a good 4-5 hours on this. The level of easter eggs and detail is just shocking. I think this is pretty much all of it though. Thanks to people in general for making this such a great community! 0:05 a GameCube 0:06 a bottle of Nuka cola (fallout series) and a pun on the drink Sprite with Ryu from street fighter on the front. 0:10 if you didn't figure this out game'sCock is GameStop. 0:30 Vogue one a pun based off Star Wars: rogue one just changing it based on the line of Beauty products vogue. A plant monster that appeared in lots of Mario games (Called Piranha Plant). Last of all a sort of robot arm that I couldn't really recognise but I think it might be the synthetic arm that big boss uses in MGSV TPP 0:40 the cake of lies from Portal 3:12 the message is "treasure ahead" written in elvish which is probably a LOTR reference 0:50 a portrait of Dio from JoJos bizarre adventure part 3 using the purple hermit ability 0:59 both of those helmets were used heavily in the marketing campaigns in both games and were on the covers too 1:34 I think the pudding of the lords is a joke based on Aldrich being sludge in the opening cutscene 2:00 you can see that one meme Pepe looking sad proably referencing the uselessness and disappointment of the stat as a whole. 2:29 Conan O'Brien much 3:00 roughly multiple things that I could explain but I'll only explain the less obvious ones that I get konami, in the top right the Wii U, mighty no.9 and a part of Michael jacksons thriller was playing. I have never seen your animations before, so when I saw the video length I was expecting some rushed hack-job shite, BUT I WAS TOTALLY WRONG! This was great! The jokes were funny and insightful, the voice acting good and you got the characters' appearences on point. Animation might have been a bit still, but it worked well, mostly because you put so many nice details and easter eggs into the scenery. Great Job!
