Matthew Shezmen That’s the thing. He didn’t. He went to the trouble of making a funny video. Rather than demand something from us, he offered something to us. It demonstrates why you may *want* to enable notifications, instead of just telling you that he wants you to do so. It’s respectful. Classy. I like it. So I subbed and clicked the bell. I wonder if Games today still use this. Last time I seen a built in anti cheat into a game was in spyro 3. Where the game detects you are playing a pirated copy and blocks you from getting to end game. And after that it deletes your save... Talk about punishment

That’s a pretty cool idea actually. Gives pirates a demo, and they can buy the game (or do more advanced pirating) to progress. By the time you defeated the gargoyles you probably know whether you like the game enough to spend money on it

This reminds me of a story I had regarding Dark Souls and especially Oswald the pardoner. One I had almost nearly forgotten about, until this little animation jump-started my memory. So, get this, I had just gotten done helping a friend do their Artorias of the Abyss story, spending WAY more time than I'd care to mention down in the Chasm of the Abyss, fighting Manus over and over, until finally winning and deciding to take a much needed break. Unfortunately for me, I had decided to pay a visit to Oswald for some stuff, because invaders out the wahzoo, but then went to grab a drink afterwards. While still in the game. In front of Oswald. See where this is going? I come back just a little bit later, undisturbed by anything because 'big level', only for things to go immediately wrong. All that time in the chasm had more an effect than I thought. Because seeing an already creepy-looking guy, half-shrouded in shadow and standing there looking far more menacing than ever just...made something snap. And before I realized it, I was already swinging my 'Greatsword of Artorias' (cursed) into Oswald. By the time it hit me what I was doing, I was already past the point that he'd NOT be hostile to me anymore, so I had no choice but to 'Old Yeller' him. The rest of my playthrough was haunted with goody two-shoe justice-seekers and made NG+ that much more difficult for me. Thanks Shez, for making me remember all that. Really. At least, hopefully, this was worth a chuckle for someone else. Still, keep up the good work! Always enjoy it.
