I love this series but I don't think I could stand there and let Mark talk to me and my team mates in that way. It's disrespectful, no one turns up not planning on playing well. I get it is frustrating, but it's somehow how the message is delivered that is important. Seems he always calls out the negatives, rarely seems to call the positives from his side.

Mark is clearly a great manager at this level, but I can’t help but feel like he gives the team too much information from the touch line. If he was more succinct he wouldn’t need to commentate throughout the game. Proper headache inducing stuff.

In fairness his ability to spot players is very good as one of his biggest critics it's something I have to praise, but his understanding of the game, and his way of dealing with players is something that if he wasn't the owner, players would get their manager sacked. He says too much always.

Love the episodes however I don't mean to be harsh on Marc the whole time, but this is where my judgement is correct imo. He seems to have double standards, in regards he took a player off for a yellow card in a cup game, but now won't take another player off due to him been the best player on the pitch. It's something I agree with not taking him off, but you can't have sweeping statement and as Johnny Giles says "you have to take the game on its merits", the fella he took off last time in the cup game at half time because he was on a yellow, you have to way up the options if he was going to get himself booked for a second time, but players don't get sent off or yellows unless they come off their feet and as I didn't see the game, only what you showed that assessment had to be made, now Marc looks like a hypocrite as he said "if you get a yellow in a cup game your off" but yet he doesn't take him off. Sometimes the less that's said the better, and one of his weakness is he talks too much and not precise and to the point. However some of his pre match team talks are getting better, but a lack of understanding in the game, for example in this game diamond midfields are hard to hard to play out due to the nature of two ST, a CAM and full backs that are pushed very high. I would not be two critical of the players here on this. It's just the opposition's set up causing issues. For me he needs to switch to a back 4 of he's looking to play out and try and give the full backs a problem either to go up or to break the first press with a ball into the wide players. There not going to dominate 4 central midfields, and he's right the ball needs to be out wide, which in fairness they are doing and he wants more of it. Especially down the left. But playing out form the back is difficult in a diamond
