Hey I’m a senior interested in San Jac. I know it’s been a year already but do you remember how fast the rooms go? I just submitted my housing application on December 11 and I’m wondering if I will get an early room selection day. Thank you!

Hey! They go really fast! My roommate did all the work so I’m not sure, but we did everything as soon as we could in order to get it. But ik a lot of people ended up in jester.

Hi! Sorry for the late response! I am a Texas resident and was in the top 6% of my graduating class so I got automatic admissions into the University but still had to apply to the specific college (I was accepted into College of Natural Sciences). If enough people would like I can make a video about it :)

@@MaddyBernal yes please that would be incredibly useful! I am within the top 6% as well but I know that doesn’t guarantee your choice of major, so knowing your extracurriculars would be helpful :)

Does each floor have its own washer/dryer? Or the washer/dryer is on the certain floor.

Hey sorry for such a late response but I didn’t have any problems getting into San Jac but I know a lot of people do because there isn’t a ton of rooms. And sorry I don’t remember how early the deposit was but I think maybe early summer.

Love the vid 💕 but I got a question I’m looking to go here for college and are there private dorms like you get your own bed and bath (you can still live with roommates though) Is the Callaway house also dorms for freshman?

sorry to butt in but i’m an incoming freshman that has done extensive research😅 the callaway house is an apartment complex for everyone (yes freshman) it looks like a dorm and sort of feels like a dorm but it’s off-campus and like an apartment you will have monthly rent there. it’s definitely nicer then normal dorms at UT but personally i like being on campus so i choose san jac in san jac i have my own private bathroom and i also have a roommate so basically the same… i don’t know how different the financial differences are but at san jac it is $16,000 for the school year and that includes like unlimited meal plan free laundry and yeah

Hey I’m glad you enjoyed! So Aylin is right, Callaway is more like an apartment off-campus. There are some private on-campus dorms that I know of but there aren’t very many and they’re expensive. I don’t know of any where you can have your own room and bath and still have roommates. If you’re wanting something like that an apartment is probably where you’ll find it :)

Hello! Since it's next to the stadium what abour the noise? Is it too laud everyday?

Hey! The noise isn't too bad! The worst it gets is on Gameday and I never had any issues with it personally :)
