Hey y’all! I’m back with something new! A dorm tour featuring one male dorm and four female freshmen dorms.
Hopefully this video can help you out with making your decision on which Hall to pick and see how the rooms look.
Here are the times of the different dorms.

Hey, how did you go about using the community style bathrooms ? I got accepted there and I really want to go but the community bathroom is a big turn off for me

Essence Milton Congratulations on your acceptance! Community style bathroom is not that bad. I stayed in Twitchell and the bathrooms were newly renovated the previous summer and they actually just renovated them again this past summer. Yes the girls can be dirty and unsanitary but far as showering times conflicting with other girls... it doesn’t really happen. People shower at different times. Now in the morning it can become overcrowded for the people with 9/10ams. Another thing with community you can use any bathroom in the dorm doesn’t have to be the floor you live on. But Hampton does offer a suite style where the bathroom is in your actual dorm room. Try looking into VC Suites. But my top three dorm choices are VC Suites, Twitchell and Kennedy! Taylor Young sadly I don’t know what floor it’s on, I can ask my friend if she remembers. It sounds like it’s higher up, bc I think she was on the m floor and that was kind of 2 floors

Why do you need a note to have a refrigerator?

leticia dye You need a note because Hampton doesn’t allow refrigerators or microwaves, just the ones that we have on the individual floors.

@@kyndallnicole_ it has to be a medical reason, like your medication has to be stored or if you have food restrictions say that has to be kept refrigerated. But honestly , i had a small fridge for drinks /fruit lol . But I never turned in the paper and just made sure it was covered if it was dorm checks

@@kyndallnicole_ lol no you have to bring your own fridge , don’t be obvious with it on move in day lol , have it covered and put a box on top of it 😂. It all depends on your dorm and the director if they really care about the fridge being in there. Honestly I’m sure things have changed since Covid and new President. Just have a note just in case. I had lots of friends who had fridges with deli meat and stuff but I always went to cafe or ate out 😂😂

Zion McGill the single in Twitchell Hall? No still have to use the community style bathroom. Only VC Suites and James Hall Suites have their own bathroom in each room

I would like to know if they can share info about their bed risers. My daughter will attend in the fall and I've been searching for the highest, yet safest risers.

Hey! So my mom ordered them off of dormco (www.dormco.com/Suprima_Ultimate_Height_Bed_Risers_Carbon_Steel_p/smbr-suprima09-wht.htm) and because the legs of the beds in twitchell are skinnier my dad secured the bed risers with little wooden blocks in each riser so the legs were sturdy :)

I’m just nervous because I’ve been told and saw a few pics that Twitchell has and may still be in the process of renovations. New floors and furniture is what has been reported as new changes. I’m hoping the bed polls are the same as yours.

Does Kennedy Hall have small rooms ?

Chelsea Johnson They are smaller than the other dorms. All depends on how you set your room up. Some rooms such as “corner rooms” are bigger. Kennedy Hall only 3 floors and around 40 girls are in there and they have new renovated bathrooms. No elevator though.

I lived in Kennedy, it’s 4 floors. Mostly single. The singles are the biggest outta all female freshman dorms. The doubles are slightly smaller than most of the other dorms
