As long as the park has interesting things to see its fine. Those old rides were really cool so I didnt even think of this video as different until you pointed out the lack of dark rides and stringent rules.

Either way I enjoy them. If you can film being on the rides then we get to hear you scream. If you video others on the rides we still get to see locations that many of us can't get to so I enjoy whatever we get. My wife has been recovering from some very serious non-covid related issues since 2019 and even with things re opening and me being vaccinated I'm not able to be out at attractions or take the grand kids to an amusement park. Plus, my kids and I have always been fans of dark rides and "haunted houses". So keep on videoing for those of us that are living vicariously through the series! lol

Man you're hitting all my favorites as of recently! I love Dorney, it's by far my favorite amusement park. Hydra was my first inverted roller coaster, so it holds a special place in my heart. Fun fact about Hydra- it stands in the place where a coaster called Hercules once was. Story goes Hercules defeated the Hydra and buried it's head in that spot, and years later it grew back as the coater, hence "the revenge". I love this park so much.

I live in England so I love seeing these smaller parks that we don't hear about over here. I love your dark ride videos and as I don't really ride rollercoasters it's just nice to see offride of those and not really need a POV of them. I love your style of vlog during lockdown it's been like having a day out and getting to experience new places.

I worked at Dorney back in the early 90’s just before Cedar Fair purchased it for a few years. This brings back so many memories. So much of the park is completely different yet so much is exactly the same. The wooden coaster you referred to as coaster we called the yellow coaster, and the name was then changed to Thunderhawk. Thank you for taking me back to a place that defined my entire childhood. You did it justice!! You don’t need to take us on the coasters....tours like this are perfect! What I enjoy most about your videos, Jacob, is the background information you give -- the history of the site and its attractions, how things work, the behind-the-scenes material. (That there is an actual name for parks at the end of trolley lines was new to me. Thanks! And your telling us about Bill Tracy allowed me to appreciate spotting, in one of your videos of a dark ride, the "R.I.P. Bill Tracy" on one of the tombstones.) If camera restrictions prevent you from adding on-the-ride footage, so be it. My enjoyment is not diminished in the least.

I remember being a very little guy climbing out of my Dad's Buick onto a grass lot and then walking under the wooden roller coaster. That must have been 59 or 60. Then in the seventies I enjoyed Wacky Shack, the pirate dark ride, Journey to the Center of the Earth, the Carousel (my mother fainted on this) which was then in it's Carousel House with a music machine in the center, a small stone lined pond where we watched fish, a riverboat ride, and the zoo. Dorney of today just doesn't measure up. I much prefer Knoebels.

The first group of plushies you were curious about are actually called "Squishmallows"! The concept is essentially "take an animal and make it a giant inedible marshmallow". The second group of plushies are from a game called "Bendy and the Ink Machine"(I actually cosplay one of the bad guys in it named Sammy) and I highly recommend playing it if you like horror games! There aren't a whole lot of jumpscares and it focuses more on the atmosphere and story. As for what kind of videos I like, I prefer the ones that mix walking and riding but focus more on riding! I won't know when I can go to these places, so I've lowkey been experiencing them through your content!

@thecarpetbagger well it is nice to have a stroll through an amusement park to see the overall vibe as well as getting on some of the rides.

Your vlogs are fun to watch no matter what. I always appreciate you communicating the park rules with regards to filming though. keep it up!

Of course, seeing you on rides & hearing you scream are the best...but if you can't, you can't & watching this was fun too. I especially loved seeing the classic rides.

Hey Jacob, all of your videos are just great. There are plenty of POV vids and whole entire channels of roller coasters. You do something unique with your park tours, so keep doing what you are doing, POV's of rides or not.

It's just "POVs." No apostrophe, as apostrophes aren't used to make plurals.

Awesome videos. I always love tuning in. Makes me appreciate the little things about Amusement Parks that go un-noticed because of the rides. Keep up the good work please!!!

I would like more of this. It doesn't really matter. I don't have to feel like I'm on rides to enjoy seeing the parks. I just enjoy seeing it all. You make me feel like I'm there! It's great! Plus, I don't ride roller coasters anyway.
