Fun fact: some old rules allowed Berserker Soul to deal damage even after the opponent LP got down to 0, just like the anime. But the card text got rectified later and that is no longer possible

The card text didn't change, but the rules regarding victory conditions did. Previously, you couldn't win while an effect was resolving, but after March 2015 you could for standard victory conditions. This was part of the heavy handed nerf to Ring of Destruction.

If you want play berserker soul pure you can play timelord engine with battle fader, scarecrow and monster with the capacity to attack directy

If your whole deck is monster cards, and it's a draw effect, you'll draw yourself into oblivion, and lose the duel

it’s actually 4000 LP (500*8), because you repeat 7 times which means you already did it one time.

Yes! Essentially, you can take a sylvan deck that was made for only the field spell and charity as the only non monsters, then sub in berserker soul along with maybe a few monsters that can direct attack easily.

Fun fact: the exact wording of Berserker soul says you have to repeat the effect until it triggered 7 times. This wording implies you would have to keep attacking even after you won XD
