i think the problem with this cinematic which is the reason im dont get too mad abot it is...the player.. in other moments were major characters there so they could make a decent cinematic with them, wrath had, cata had, mop had, wod had, legion had, bfa doesnt since its the player that its there and not a major character and the player character does not have a fixed appearence so they cant use it for like saurfang death level of cinematic as example

Many other content creators on youtube agree that this ending was just atrocious indeed. I mean Nzoth was such an important lore component, not to mentione it was an Old God fully unleashed, and we still easily push it back and kill it like this...meh.

It's like when a player comes into shadowlands and just finished the starting area and then immediately gets brought to zandalar and gets the Titel voice of the horde. Its understandable for a character level 110 to be called champion or some shit but this is like an orc coming out of durotar and gets warchief

The way blizzard create a character make us as player expect a lot to the story. And yet they end it with a plain and uninteresting resolution. Like that Nzoth thing is pretty ridiculous. I mean, dude, its an Old God, arguably the strongest being in azeroth. And u just use a laser beam to defeat it? Well i know that the laser beam is not a common laser beam, but dude... Its waay below our expectation.

I thought it would be cool (but sad) if N'zoth corrupted you and commanded you to kill Mangi. I know he's The Speaker and all but I think N'zoth needed to win a large battle or something.

I actually thought the ending was mostly fine, even with our characters being the ones to deliver the final blow. I just feel the ending cinematic needed to be longer, with some dialogue from significant lore characters to anchor it in the story.

I agree... I can buy that my character, that has gone through all expansions, is somehow a respected character. But dont make me a champion, dont make me the choosen one, cause my character has no name in the lore. I am but an adventure, perhaps a powerful one... but I am weaker than kinda all of the major characters in lore. No way my Paladin can beat Anduin, my Priest got no chance against Velen... and compare to Malfurion my Druid is less than a kitten... heck my Shaman wouldnt stand for very long against Thrall even without his powers (how long will the elements ignore him because he did something in another universe... srsly blizz?). ...and now one of the Old Gods I was looking forward to actually deal with since over ten years ago got one patch and this cinematic... But hey! I am the child of Azeroth... said no Draenei ever.

Actually, the Old Gods were imprisoned because after killing Y'Shaarj , the titans think killing the other Old Gods would kill Azeroth too, so they were forced to imprison them, plus containing their threats. Which makes this ending no sense... I mean, the titans built all these tech that could kill N'zoth without killing Azeroth, but never bothered to use it until now?

This was garbage. It's like Blizzard didn't even try or care when they put these cinematics together or how they ended Baf expansion. Their was absolutely no payoff. It's trash. B.F.A. Expansion was trash. I just hope Blizzard does way better in The Shadowlands Expansion.

I agree, I got into warcraft (war3, and wow because of that) because of the world and story in Warcraft 3 and wow then it went up and down, now it's mostly been going down and had very little interest in playing also, this is first time i see second (final cinematic) video and it's just.. really? That's it? Like you said, there's so much hype with him behind the scenes and corrupting big lore characters then he gets killed, almost as quickly as Ion said on blizzcon 'something tells me we'll defeat him' just didn't expect so soon, most if not everyone were hoping him leading to next expansion and we'd actually lose, nope seems that we're just getting stronger and stronger until we reach titan levels of power.

I was actually fine with N'zoth only having a patch. I feel like an entire expansion full of tentacles would have been weird, but it was a little underwhelming. Also I don't like how the screen just turns white and we don't actually see him explode and die. Maybe he lives? Lol probably just wishful thinking.

First of all they ruined lore with chronicles the whole point the beautiful and atractive thing which made old gods and wows lore great was mystery behinde these creatures beigns of incomprehensible power and motives embodiment of fear terror and chaos but blizzard absolutely ruined it in chronicles there was no need to introduce void lords but this what happens when you have bad writers all they care is to make patches as fast as possible without caring about quality so at some point when yo u cant expand characters cuz you dont have imagination and knowledge all you do is introduce new big bad guys to keep game running literally using massive i mean MASSIVE lore characters for just one patch in this way we have new patches with new big bad boys but ....... well what can i say this is embarassing as i feel Massively let down first of all as a wow player and as a hp lovecraft fan there is no light at the end of tunnel fuck this game and blizzard im no longer taking a piss
