my first thought was no way, this piece was meant and could only be a guitar piece. by the end of the track though this wonderful musician had me thinking that this piece was meant to be played on the harp. beautiful.

Dorothy Ashby died April 13, 1986. On April 13, 2020, jazz harpist, Brandee A. Younger, perfectly performed this magnificent piece in Ashby’s honor. It’s on FB Silkroad.

So, before any of our romantic, passionate feelings about his beautiful concert, the composer's inspiration is the nostalgia for the land where he spent his childhood...He was simply thinking of other kind of sensuality...

rodrigo was born in sagunto, no related with muslim culture, the same for aranjuez. he described his concerto as the sound of the wind in the gardens of aranjuez palace (built in the XIX century)
