Those look better than the pair that were in the Smithsonian when I saw them in the mid-80's. Those were extremely faded and some of the sequins falling off. They looked almost like a grayish pink.

While it's very possible Judy had size variations (as most of us do), it is impossible to determine if they became mismatched in use or after the several pairs were found and mated by condition/quality of mating or simply accidentally. As we know where their true mates exist, I'd say this was more likely a function of mismating purposely or accidentally at their discovery in the '70's.

One shoe is 5C, the other is 5BC. The right shoe of one pair matches the left of another and Vice versa. This means Judy Garland had one foot bigger than the other AND they were mismatched in the sequencing process

You are getting your fairy tales mixed up! These are not "glass ruby slippers," just ruby. The glass thing was from Cinderella.

Bows are different shapes. Heels are different widths. Stock Numbers printed in Left and Right shoes don’t match( but DO coincide with recent Stolen Pair, now Recovered by FBI). This is One of FIVE pairs known to exist ( including TEST pair not used in movie). P.S, not made of Glass, but gelatin sequins. Jewels on the bows are the only glass decoration. 😁

yes I believe I read something about that while at the exhibit. And I think this pair is not an exact match either.
