How would you compare this game to the first one? Divinity original sin (the first one) took me by surprise by how good it was, wondered if this one is like that at all

If you liked DOS 1 you will love DOS 2 They ironed out all the slight issues from the first game. Much smoother, hybrid classes are actually viable, they didn't kill the rogue with nerfs. Only thing off the top of my head that's disappointing, it's the lack of spell crafting, there's some but it's more combining a skill with a spell. Mods can fix some of that but if recommend playing it vanilla first I'm at 2k hours now... For a single player game, that's really great.
