This single-center, non-blinded, randomized prospective study aims to compare lenient and restrictive post-operative care instructions for patients who have undergone surgery involving cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED). The researchers hypothesize that there will be no significant difference in the rate of complications between the two sets of instructions. I’m curious about your thoughts on this matter. My request is anyone good hearted persons may please translate guidelines given by doctor those who already implanted permanent pacemaker from Hindi language to kannada if possible early. I always thankful to them.

1. Do not wash the surgery area for 10 days. Keep it dry to prevent infection 2. Do not do anything sudden with your arms for few weeks like no sudden movements. 3. Do not raise your arm above shoulder as it may dislodge the lead(wire) of the newly attached pacemaker. (For a month) 4. Do not sleep or getup from sleep on the side where pacemaker is planted. 5. Whatever electrical appliance you use it should be grounded 100% sure. Even taps and geysers. 6. Can use mobile phone but in opposite ear of pacemaker surgery. (Not so risky but should be careful) 7. Long Drives after 6 months only 8. No rotating exercises of hands or shoulder 9. Travel after one month is ok. 10. Pacemaker should be informed at every metal detector to security like airports and malls. Hand metal detectors should be avoided. 11. But Can cross walking metal detector. 12. Any kind of infection near surgery should be informed to the doctor. 13. Dont itch or touch your pacemaker site. Even while bathing you should touch and wash firmly on the area above pacemaker 14. Every 3 to 6 months checkup with cardiac doctor is advised.

He fainted 4 times before the pacemaker was implanted. 6 months after pacemaker surgery he experienced some dizziness as he experienced before the syncope but he did not faint. Within a few minutes he was back to normal. Does that mean the pacemaker is working well? Please reply.

Resp.madam,I am heart patient since jan.90,lvef now 30% by echo, may 90 angio.at Bombay hosp..lvef 20%,svd,,enjoy easy life & hard work till 2019, oct.2019 vt at early morning at the time of first urine,implant aicd single chamber 2019, oct.2020 CHF., Dec.2021 second vt at the time of attending marriage party,there was dj sound and buffet sound and I take excess diet,the second vt cause was dj sound & excess diet or not, guide me, further i away to dj sound or not & marriage party & excess diet,guide me,aicd shock & normal
