Thanks! super helpful even for someone who's trying to learn colouring digitally. Sure there are "shortcuts" but nothing beats the fundamentals traditional painting teaches you

Simple technique yet so effective. A big difference between the images on the left and right. Will try this to avoid cotton balls :). Thank you. Would also love to see a video on how to blend those different layers of the clouds so that it looks even more realistic.

I just want to say that on the start of the second cloud I could actually see it as if it was water and sky, the clouds could have been rocks peeking through the water before you put the white in the clouds, I found that intrigueing :-)
