What annoys me with dot is they can fine a truck a few hundred for having a light out but a car can drive by with the brakes grinding and the car half held together with duct tape and that's no problem.

Passing a DOT is like the 2nd or 3rd best feeling. Look at it as that your employees trust you to be the best loader operator there. Like GrandPa used to say he was an Operator and we just ran the equipment. If trucks were not inspected you would have commercial trucks rusted out like some people drive and my farm truck is. Hope you all stay safe and healthy.

Now what would be cool, would be a truck walk around with one of the inspectors. To show what they are looking for while doing an inspection. Like what passes, what is a warning and what is a out of service violation, etc.
