I played Infection and Mutation so much as a kid. Outbreak and Quarantine eventually became impossible for me to get my hands on so I traded in my games :c

Whoa! This is higher definition than I have ever seen before! I have never been able to make out the ALTIMIT startup messages, but they're clear as day here. Your step-by-step explanation works out quite well here and I am curious to see how you tie it into other parts of the series. After all, //Liminality and //SIGN are entwined so deeply into the games. (left the same comment on your thread). I further appreciate the extra little touches, like using the Liminality ?poster? and chopping out the small bits of texts from Gardenia's fan club to show how many there were instead of just going to the thread and quickly scanning through them.

It's on an emulator, I played it originally on PS2 back in the day but used an emulator for the capture footage

I played on a PS2 emulator, I would have played it on the original hardware but I forgot to bring my controllers when I moved. Plus I think the emulator works better for the visuals :P

That's a good question, I couldn't find any sources if the creator took inspiration from .hack but that may or may not be the case.
