There's a lot of people complaining about Deadmau5 on DOTA 2. "The music doesn't fit". "DOTA 2 was meant to be epic". "Needs more orchestra". After reading these kinds of comments I can't stop thinking how many of them actually listen to DOTA 2 OSTs. Or how shitty is the music they actually listen to. Or how they enjoy the music that famous DOTA 2 players on Twitch put while they play the game (even asking the name of the songs to use them too). Buying this music pack it's still optional and you don't need to exhibit your hatred because of it.

If this works the way I think it does (the snippets fluidly being chosen by some measure of "how much is going on", and mixed without the gaps) that could be a lot of fun for people who are into this kind of music. If you aren't into EBM, don't buy the pack, buy one that fits your taste. This one might get old after a while, sure. But I like the idea of a context sensitive mix, rather than having a set playlist. But certain genres really are suited better to "on the fly rearranging" than others.

Best music pack I've bought so far. I do think this would make some epic Starcraft music, but I don't get why people say it doesn't fit the game. I mean, I don't know many people who have in-game music enabled... because they have their own fucking background music. This made me enable the in-game music for the first time since the metal pack, and I wasn't a big fan of that pack despite not liking most EDM and loving most metal.

I've been a fan of deadmau5 since the time when dota used to be a W3 mod. Joel is one hell of a producer and that said I would have preffered to have his productions heard in a game like Deus Ex to compliment his style. That said I still downloaded the pack and played a match and I'm so damn pleased to have done that. The in-game sound design is good and gives the whole dota gaming experience a neat refresh. Albeit a bit pricey for music pack some may argue but nevertheless a remarkable addition to dota gaming experience. Loved it!

I am person each likes all genre of music and this is by far the best music pack from dota 2. Paying 6 euros or 7 dollars on this is completely worth it. It's awesome playing the game listen this. For all the haters and others each are saying the music don't fit the game, its completely subjective. Because that depends of your music taste.
