There is another lore to this, have you ever think that omniknight's skills and abaddons skills are the same..... Omniknight wanted power for himself because of problems that occurred somewhere inside of him and he betrayed the radiant side and got help from lich, lich performed a spell that made him care for himself which is: Abaddons first skill, healing allies and damaging enemy's same as omniknights Abaddons and omniknights second skill is a shield Their 3rd skill is to slow. And for their ultimates. Abaddon protects himself while omniknight protects himself and the others.

That is because of it is warcraft origin. Abaddon's abillities are based on Death Knight's and Omni is based on Paladin's. Death Knight is basically ressurected Paladin so yeah that is why.

If you check Abaddon's voice/dialogue database, he has a line directed at Nyx. "Another emissary of Nyx, crushed."

That's a bit more tricky. To put it simple - Nyx goddess has it's own secret clan, which can only have one member, and these are Nyx Assassins. When one dies, another one is created. But there can be only one. =)

I remember in dota 1 it was omniknight that picked up the frosmourn(3rd skill) and that sword made him into abaddon. He would always say "frosmourn hungers" as if the sword is in control and not him.

frostmourne, his sword and oath chaining him towards the legendary lord of all unlife and liches, to punish the foolish humans and end their reign, as such, the mighty paladin Arthas became corrupteed, holy to darkness, now wielding the legendary frostmourne he seeks the frozen throne along with the all famous accompanion kel'thuzard, the loyal servant. He later fused with lich king ner'zhul and now a lich king, seeks the end of all things living.

The sword IS in control. Omniknight (Arthas) was at war with the Scourge, to defeat the Dreadlord he sought out the power of the cursed blade Frostmourne. Him and his only friend battled there way through the frozen wasteland until they reached the crypt containing the cursed blade, held in ice. The blade required a sacrifice to be wielded, and so, hungry for power, Arthas killed his friend. The ice that contained Frostmourne shattered, and Arthas finally wielded the blade. Frostmourne corrupted his mind and his heart, turning him from good to pure evil, he turned into Abbadon.

Gupi Dhaliwal You play DotA I see. It's Paladin to Deathknight fellow DotA 2 player. And I understand that the sword at first does not control him, but eventually it corrupted him into a Death Knight, a powerful one at that. DK arthas's model was actually without a horse, it's just that DK's model are set to look that way. Arthas is NOT abbadon. Omniknight's model in DotA 1 was Uther lightbringer, in no way the same. Don't get it mixed up plz

Ruther Jade Marte Ner'zhul wasn't king, he was prisoner to the throne. And yes captain obvious, a sword doesn't have a mind on it's own, ner'zhul used the sword to project himself onto arthas as a channeling. In this way, the blade did control arthas. "Whomsoever takes up this blade shall wield power eternal. Just as the blade rends flesh, so must power scar the spirit." The king willed him to wield the sword, but ultimately it's power corrupted him more than Ner'zhul's direct action. Try again.

Drow is kinda abaddons friend or ally. Like in artifact , she seem to use the mist of avernus. And there are lots of animations showing that she fought with abaddon. Its just like sylvanas and arthas .

He didn't kill Nyx, he killed a Nyx. The thing about Nyx is that when he dies a new one comes to take his place. That's why nyx even makes some remarks to that such as "The new Nyx is risen." or "There is always a Nyx assassin."

Orichid him while he has his ult. You will heal him for full hp but then the damage will stack and after his ult he can even from orchid effect.

The Nyx Assassin in-game isn't the same in the story. They are changed constantly by Nyx herself, there can't be more than one, but there can't be less than one either. When one falls, another rises in his place.

to be fair, there are thousands, if not millions of scarab assassins that serve the goddess Nyx. Heroes only resurrect when near the ancients so in reality it was probably nyx assassin's sister who died to Abaddon

Dire is not bad they just have an appearance of evil, Raident aren't good they just have an appearance of good. Both sides have heroes that can be perceived as evil and good. They just happened to be in the place where the Dire shard or Raident shard fell, so that's why they fight for that one.

Abaddon was once the prince of s human kingdom lordaeran, however he was duped by the demon lord malganis to pick up a cursed sword frostmorune and was brainwashed to kill his own father. After that he becomes an undead and become a hero of dota.

I assumed Abaddon was a form of the demon Abaddon, in Greek it translates to "The Destroyer". This demon is considered to be a powerful demon from Hell, if not a demon, he is the Devil himself.

Yh but he's ultimate has no mana cost and the enemy team cannot check cool down and as it automatically activates under 400 health so if viper ultimate puts abaddon under 400 health he lives on no matter what
