because Dota's hud doesn't support 21:9 unfortunately. Nowadays I play Dota in 16:9 because of that

Yeah it's totally playable. It's like playing on 27" 16:9 monitor at 2560x1440 resolution. :)

Its retarded. I play arcademode often and its usually 10v10, the positioning of the entire UI makes it so that I can't see the day/night and time of the game, and like others pointed out, my HUD is fucked up as well. GOod thing is, during character selection, I can see whats going on in game lol

It's fine. :) No, the game still is broken for 21:9 unfortunately. :( There is a some kind of fix for 21:9 but I still think it's not that great fix because the hud still takes more space than hud on 16:9 monitors.

I think it gives people an unfair advantage if Valve 'fixes' the hud, it does the same in CS:GO, everything is bigger.

It's not unfair advantage. It's the same if you compare 60hz monitor to 120hz or 144hz monitors. If you're thinking it's unfair advantage you should ban all different pc's and monitors because someone has advantage over others with faster pc (better framerate) or better monitor.
