Boody Purge and blitz have actual knowledge of the game to be qualified casters for new players. Sunsfan is more of making weird noises and lacking substance. Prionflax is just new. I watched Sunsfan play the a-z dual lane challenge and it appalls me on how much knowledge he's lacking especially in supporting especially when he is the voice for all those introductions and tutorials for dotacinema. He's not an asshole but for somebody whose job is dota, its derisory to see somebody lacking so much substance to be casting for ti4 (if he's new its understandable but he's not). Then again, they might not have had enough caster. So there's that

I'm so happy Na'Vi made it through and managed to get 5th position. A lot of Na'Vi haters out there tend to forget how much Na'Vi has sacrificed time and effort to be here. I'm not saying other teams practice less than Na'Vi but you gotta give Na'Vi some credits for finishing 2nd in TI2,3 and 1st in TI1

basically chinese teams (excluding VG and CIS) refuse to scrim with DK saying that they "aren't a full chinese team" while people speculate that it's due to the fact that DK does not take scrims as seriously as the other teams and just try out strange drafts causing teams to feel like they're being cheated off their time by scrimming with them.

I live in dubai and i can play on al servers with 300 ping max but with absolutely no lag... Any explanation to that?

lag is if the latency changes a lot (e.g. because of packet loss), 250 ms used to be the network update timing in WC3, so playing with 300 ms is not impossible to play it if you are used to it, still on average someone with a low ping is obviously going to be better

I'm Australian. We're 200-300 on US, when you get down to 30 on Aus servers the difference is HUGE.

You'll have delay in your movement but you wont notice it if you play often with that kind of connection. I know because I play with that kind of connection from home that when I go and play at a cyber/internet cafe it feels weird and I have to adapt because the ping is so much better (30-45) and the delay that I'm used to is non-existent. But if I can have that kind of ping (anything below 70 ms), I would prefer it as you can respond faster. Sometimes with a 150-300 ms ping, you can see things coming down at you but when you press the button (for example blink or SD disruption) it's too late because of the delay.

Sometimes i play on dubai server with 30 ping but i dont see that much difference, to me lag is when the characters start moving in place and the game stops for less than a second and then it keeps happening. and that never happens to me except sometimes when i play wifi

Technically, its not "best of 2" but "best of 3" or "race to 2". Its not "best of 3" but "best of 5" or "race to 3".

bo2 in playoffs is simply for the score , you play vs half of the teams but 2 games so 1-1 score still counts as it's the total 15 wins / loses that count and decides where you go next
