Is Optimus Prime only being released in Voyager and Supreme class or will he get another mold in Leader class? I was assuming not and was considering picking up a leader ROTF prime from the few I saw that TRU still has lying around.

In robot mode, rotate the waist so that the blue section is facing backwards, then rotate his thigh-swivel joint 180 degrees. Both "To Punish and Enslave" should now be facing one another. You will now notice that this once-disappointing figure is now AWESOME.

i think this BARRICADE is a great figure to fix in your WFC and FOC cupboard because WFC and FOC doesn't have a ofthen villain figure , so i will choose him at my WFC/ FOC cupboard of my villain decepticons i am going to buy him soon at 2016 or 2017 .

After all this time of deciding do i really need another Barricade since i already have the 2007 figure, i picked up the dotm one 2day and i am much morre pleased with it than the original, more movie accurate, great review P. thanx 4 playn a part n my decision making.

Not liking the fact that all of the size classes seem to to have been scaled down. I'd rather have big robot, no guns than something that will end up in a box with other weapons, and a smaller line. Im seeing a lot of skips out of the DOTM line, but there are a few exceptions. Thanks for reviewing though, because I may have bought it just seeing vehicle mode. You saved me some coin.

wow, i was under the impression this was just a repackage of Transformers Barricade, but this looks like an improved version, looks more solid and the legs are a HUGE improvement from the first movies toy.

@MrSpikeyness Even though we did not see him die, it can pretty much be assumed that he died when he fought Bumblebee after the car chase scene in the first movie. First off, he didn't report when all of the other decepticons did (i.e. when they were talking on the radio before the final battle) and second off he didn't show up in the battle at the end either.

@kobaltkat1 A little trick with that is a very small strip of double sided tape on the hand grip of the weapon, it will stay much better.

@coreythecreeper yes, i'm aware of that 4 total barricade namesake's in first movie 2 in the ROTF and a scout class look-alike (well to me, anyway, the breakdown mold if you color it black) and at LEAST 1 in this one before this i've never heard of any "barricade" transformer

when the windows are in the ''up'' position, barricade reminds me of Kickback. anyway...heres an ''alternate'' transformation tip: if you skip rotating the rear wheels and instead fold them towards the head, itll give him shoulderpads. granted, it makes him even shorter...however, it bulks him up in the upper-body which gives an illusion of a more-proportioned torso. it also looks better than having the wheels jutting straight up, into the ether. (hides the non-locking shoulder joints as well)

@TheWingknight101 He wasn't killed. There is a comic that focuses on Starscream (I think it was called "The Reign of Starscream") that tells what happens after TF1. Starscream locates Barricade, who is still alive after being run off of the road during the chase scene with Bonecrusher. So yes, he is still alive. Also, the robot mode is very terrible. I hoped it is fixed.

He has the same problem as movie Jazz almost. If the leg joints with the ball joint could fold downwards (like rotf Sideswipe) maybe he'd look a little better. HA seems to be the best version of Barricade so far.

to me the design of this figure seems a lot more intellegent and a lot less lazy than the old one, though as usual im not crazy about the mex tech weapon also i think the head looks kinda funny (maybe a bit mispraportionate?) and youre aboslutely right about his lack of stomach. the rear bumper on his but looks silly too... so my oppinions of this line continue to become more mixed and confused...
