My favorite map is Yoshi Circuit. This map has a fun amount of twists and turns that truly test the skills of a player. The fact that the stage is the shape of Yoshi shows the uniqueness and characteristics of the character. It has an overall fun aesthetic and also nobody has ever said they hate Yoshi. In conclusion, Yoshi Circuit is the best map and Toad Harbor kinda mid. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk :)

I was gonna let this slide until I saw that Toad harbor slander. Now I have to write a passionately worded essay about why you're wrong. Firstly, the aesthetic of Toad harbor is remarkable. The map has so many different aspects that make it feel like a bustling city, from the markets to the boats etc. Not to mention the soundtrack is super chill to the point where you can almost forget about all the toxicity in the race and actually enjoy the game despite getting hit by 3 blue shells back to back to back. Yoshi circuit only looks like Yoshi from the top down, and the rest of the race just feels generic, which is unfortunate for such a loveable character such as Yoshi. The illusion of skill in Mario Kart is something I'd also like to analyse; there are very few areas of improvement available for most players once the basic skills of Mario kart have been mastered. Once you have understood how to drive, your position in races ultimately comes down to the luck of the item boxes (Evidence being this entire video). Skill is only a real factor in time trials where the only thing to beat is a timed record that you set yourself or a ghost from Nintendo had set up. This is arguably the least interesting AND least played part of the game, yet the only area I can confidently say Yoshi's circuit is a really good map for. In Grand Prix races, this map becomes stale very quickly because your skill does not guarantee you victory, so you end up feeling unrewarded. Admittedly this goes for every race in Mario Kart, but this effect is lessened in easier maps(e.g. Toad Harbor) because you don't need to put in as much effort to win. This therefore makes less skill intense maps surprisingly more fun to play. Lastly, Toad harbor has a wider variety of pathways and shortcuts to take then Yoshi circuit. The map has many areas where you can drive on walls, ramp onto a boat and even drift above a marketplace. I'm afraid to say that Yoshi's circuit quite simply cannot compete with the variety that Toad Harbor has. Tl:dr, put some respect on Toad Harbor for being a god tier map. Yoshi circuit mid at best.

My favorite map would sincerely be coconut mall and let me explain why, coconut mall not only has a unique design to it by having more then one course selecting (Going up to a glider in the air down or choose to stay down and get a speed boost with a power up) . Another thing that it brings to the table is the escalators forwarding you to a certain path mainly up or down, The down path would only bring you slower to make your way up to the second floor and the up path would bring you twice as fast as you normally would. Coconut mall also has a nice nostalgia feeling from when it first came out in Mario kart Wii April of 2008, I can only express fun memories I had as a child playing that map fucking everybody with a red shell or with the little cloud appearing on the top of your head after pulling it Coconut mall also has these fun little remarks of shortcuts being desplaying like going through a store which is just only a little easter egg in the map, Also one key factor is that they also added cars in the ending of the course to replicate the parking and car storage malls have in their parking lot . These are more of the canonical reason why I believe in my opinion the best Mario kart map in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would be Coconut Mall.

Choco Mountain has to be the best Mario Kart track in my opinion. I very much enjoy the enthusiastic music that plays when you race through it, and the song has never been ruined in its 3 appearances. The boulders falling onto the track and into the water is a very neat concept in my opinion, and I like how you loop around and drive right next to lower placed racers, being higher to show dominance. I also enjoy the fact that the course has been completely broken in MK64, capable of being beaten in under 15 seconds. And lastly, the 3 humps at the end are really fun to me ^^

The best track in the game is Neo Bowser City. Neo Bowser City is the ultimate test of skill in controlling your kart in Mario Kart 8. The track consists of several tight and unforgiving turns that give some Rainbow Roads a run for their money. These treacherous turns must also be navigated under the low-traction conditions of the water-slick and anti-gravity surfaces. This combination results in a track that requires a tight focus and a clear understanding of your kart's maneuverability to perform well. Neo Bowser City shines especially in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's 200cc speed. The layout and conditions of the map make for a complex interaction with the high-speed actions of 200cc. You will not be able to clear many of the turns consistently without heavily managing your speed, but drive too carefully and you'll find yourself soaked in the wake of your competitors. The stage is also a visual tour de force, standing out as one of the best-looking maps in Mario Kart 8 with its unique future-city aesthetic, a look that has not been seen elsewhere in the Mario Kart franchise. It can be compared to a Rainbow Road in some aspects, but I believe that it separates itself with its narrower tracks, offroad segments that allow for more traditional Mario Kart shortcuts, and more inspired visual design.

For me, the Rainbow Road from N64 is definitely my favourite overall stage. The entire race feels like a victory lap, a celebration of it being one of the “final” (Before DLC and such) stages of the game. The music, the fireworks, the gold border on the stage, the train throwing coins, the really pretty rainbow panelling, it’s all just got such an incredible feel. And, it’s a fun stage as well, with the chomps, the boosts, the turns. For me, that’s definitely the stage I’d say is #1 in the game overall :) (Big Blue is close competition, however)

Rainbow Road in Double Dash is the best Mario kart track. In this essay I will explain the characteristics and architectural design that gives Rainbow 🌈 Road (Double Dash) the title of #1 Mario kart track. As an F1 fan… Haha but in all seriousness that track went hard, Double dash is my favorite Mario kart game and even though there were a ton of cool tracks, rainbow road always feels special. There was always a special energy and sense of excitement and stakes when you were on it. It’s the hardest and most challenging track, doing well on it would absolutely mark you as skilled and I loved that sense of challenge and stakes. heres you zamasu paragraph my favorite corse is ninja hideaway. it's a cool track visually. though its visual aspects can lead to slightly Jank corse design. but it has lots of short cuts. probably the most in the game. it has a lot of strategy depending on which items you get. and you can even take a new shortcut if you have a mushroom on 200cc.

The legitimately best track in the entire game is N64 Rainbow Road and it's not even close. It's completely redone but is still somehow so nostalgic. Honestly, the only thing wrong with it is that it's not 10 laps long.
