A true woman of God. Sometime in the early 90's I sat in a little church in Jackson Tn. with my 6 year old daughter Faith. The Glory of God was all around this lady as she ministered to the house. My daughter leaned over to me and said "Dad do you see the cloud." I replied " Yes honey I see the Cloud."

This song is so special to me My sister's husband sang this at my son's funeral I cry everytime I hear it because my son is sheltered in the arms of God in Heaven n I praise God every day that he is My son suffers no more heartache Thank you Lord! It's been 5 yrs 7 months n 12 days n I still miss him terribly bad But one day I know we'll be united again on those streets of gold n I can't wait to look at his face when I enter the gates of Heaven What a day that will be!

Make up and jewelry is not wrong. Salvation is a gift, not something we earn by what we wear, don't wear, do or not do. God certainly approves of Dottie Rambo. Growing up in a very difficult situation God used Dottie's music as well as the Gaither's music to keep me in touch with hope and His love. I didn't care what they looked like, I only cared about the God they had a relationship with.

Sheltered in the Arms of God -- what a blessing this song was. My husband of 60 years was dying at home, surrounded by his family. My Alexa app was playing this song and the peace Jesus gave us as he called Ken home was amazing. Christians have no fear and God will shelter us. Thank you Dottie Rambo for writing this song. Precious Dottie Rambo wrote such amazingly beautiful gospel songs to our Lord and Savior. You can feel the move of the Holy Spirit in each one. So many of her songs have touched my heart, leaving tears flowing down my cheeks and goosebumps on my arms. Our Lord is so worthy of "All" praise.

Dottie was for sure touched by God with the music she wrote and sang. I think she touched many hearts with her music while she was alive and now even that's she gone it will carry on....and that is only from God using her to bring more of His children in. When we get to Heaven I don't think our appearance will make any difference to any of us, we will be with all our loved ones listening to beautiful music like Dottie's with our Jesus.

Love Dottie, had seen her many times when she would come to our church in Fort Smith. Sad when her and Buck divorced. She kept that sweet sweet spirit about her. She passed away on May 11th, 2008 on Mother's Day and my sister folowed on May 12th, 2008. She loved Dottie so I'm sure they are having a great time in Heaven. No more pain for either! My sister died of Ovarian cancer she fought for 3 1/2 years. Never once blamed God, I knew when it was time he came for my sister and in the end that's what we as Christians want. To feel his touch on your shoulder, what a comfort. The songs this lovely lady of God left behind for us to continue to listen to, continues to be such a blessing to all who listen. When God does a work in someone, it continues to move and touch others, even when the person has left the world behind and is in heaven to be with our Heavenly Father.
