Some useful points for beginners who find there way here: Some of the things in this guide dont work the same way anymore. Below is what I had to do to make things work, and some useful tips. You can only buy from specific trade managers now. Look them up in the trading lifeskill guide. You need to invest in the node of the trade manager's location. Put your mount or wagon or boat away. Costs arent just a few hundred silver anymore, more like a few hundred thousand. You only need one item from them. You do not need to be over encumbered to get the benefits of strength. Setting a loop with Alt + RMB allows you to make multiple points. Useful for avoiding specific areas where auto-pathing sucks. You can minimize the game to the system tray. Just dont turn off your computer or put it in sleep mode. This is done in the log off screen. DONT TRY TO MINIMIZE IT WITH TASK MANAGER Hope this helps and keep in mind if you are viewing this long into the future, the information here might be old versions of the game.

1) Have your workers craft a crate of food. Carry that for afk-loop-training of STR. No trade skill needed. 2) Have your fairy feed you 3 90-min foods on a loop. There's a meal 30-min cool-down, so you'll always have 3 buffs going. It's not that much XP, but it's passive since the fairy will feed you while afk STR training. I just cook a lot, so I save the 90-min buffs for food, and sell the rest on the market (or use them for Imperial Cooking turn-ins.) If you can get 4 120-min meals, you'll have 4 buffs going. It's just not worth the cost to me. 3) If you're doing a lot of "talk to so-and-so" quests that just give you the run-around. Leave your horse, and just auto-path clicking the shift key regularly. You'll get your breath easy enough that way. 4) Join a small guild, it's easy to get the subjugation quests done, and the juice rewards are usually in surplus. This is how I went from 25-31 in all of these skills in just a few days. I was told to use them as much as needed. Now, a month later, and the guild has 200+ of each just sitting in the bank. A guild of 12 people, and we average about 10 Guild tasks a week. Once everyone's alts got up to 30, these juices just pile up.

People that make BDO guides really need some kind of reward. As a new palyer Id be absolutely lost without these. Ive had a bunch of these juices for the longest time and didnt know what they are used for ty for the guide!

I joined a 10-person guild. They had so many extra juices that they insisted that I use them up! I went from 25-30 in a matter of a few days. :) Small guilds have their perks!

Good video with some great info. Tiny correction though: You do in fact not need to be overburdened to level strength. All you need is a trade pack. I've leveled strength on about 10 characters by now, and none of them has ever had more than a single trade pack.

Can you level Strength and Breath in the same go?

@@AcidCortex1 Yes, but not in any afk mode. You can minimize the game to tray and STR train. To breath train at the same time, you have to tap the shift key whenever stamina refreshes to about 50% or more. So, you'd have to keep the game up front with a method of tapping the shift key (holding down the shift key only works for about 2 min for me, then it stops auto-running.)

So now that the trade mechanic has been changed to whatever the hell it is now, how do you level strength? I spent hours trying to figure it out but ended up wasting alot of money without being able to retrieve what I bought. This new system is stupid. Is so confusing that I don’t even want to touch it. The reward for the time sink doesn’t seem worth it. I just want to level my strength so I can carry more loot instead of stoping to sell junk.

So holding any trade item will give you a trade pack without being overburdened and will still level up your trade level and you can still sprint. Is there any benefit to intentionally becoming overburdened?

Theres also literally no point spending hours afking leveling your strength to get 1 lb more weight which in game means really close to nothing at all. Youre better off doing literally anything else afk.

Is bdo worth playing as new Comer? I was a big eso player up till now kind of tired of it servers suck and the devs continuously make pvp a toxic state in the game. Bdo is pvp heavy which is what I like but woth Crimson desert coming should I just wait

Create a trial character, automatic lvl 60 with all skills unlocked, but you cant move of an island full of pvp players and practice dummys.
