Tried the recipe , made a few variations. Added cinnamon ,orange zest and Greek yogurt instead of butter. And they turned out delicious

Those look delicious Shira! I make a similar recipe using whole wheat pastry flour and I add chunks of ripe bananas and chopped walnuts. Sooo good! :D

I tried this recipe today,they where delicious, very moist inside. I made my own apple sauce, I slightly modified this recipe, by adding cinnamon 😋 did not have millet, so I used 2 Tbs of ground flax,and tsp of nutritional yeast. Thank you ❣️ 😊

Peel and core the apples, then add them to a pot with some water. Bring to a boil, then lower temperature to low and allow to simmer until the apples have softened and broken down. At this point it is done. If you want your applesauce smooth, blend it with a food processor or a stick blender if you have one. You could also do this in a slow cooker if you don't have the time to watch it on the stove. Just add the apples and water to the slow cooker and cook on the low setting for 8 hours. Hope this helps. :)

What kind of millet have you used in the recipe? Pearl millet or finger millet ?

u can substitute the wheat with oats or samolina, still will be delicious & nutritious.

I’m making these. I live alone so 12 muffins are a lot. I’d love to see info on storing this too. How long do they last fresh. How to freeze. Single people need that info. ❤️

These should last a 5-7 days in the fridge (I would box them in Tupperware or store in plastic bags to keep them moist) and a couple months in the freezer. For reheating from the freezer, stick in a toaster oven 350 10-15 min (,don't have to wait for it to preheat) or use the defrost setting on your microwave :)

Susie G I would just wrap them in plastic wrap and freeze after baking and cooled. When you want one thaw it out to room temp to enjoy.
