On any other channel I would expect a bowtie chisel to be jargon for some type of woodworking chisel. Here I expected a chisel in the form of a bowtie.

Man, i'm working all day, a lot of stuff going on. Let's say it's a busy day. I'm looking up a number in my phone to call, and i see this notification. "I made a bowtie shizle" and I just smiled. Your work is important Uri, you make people smile. Thank you !! ♥️💪😎

How did a bowtie chisel not exist before now? So many applications. As a fashion accessory, it can be formal, but also quirky. As a tool, it doesn’t have the useless dull end that all other chisels have, so it can cut in both directions. Love this channel.

Any bit of material considers itself lucky to fall into Uri's hands, for it knows it is about to become something wonderful.

That was exactly what we all love about your videos - totally nuts, unpredictable, imaginative, and lots of fun. Please keep making these videos Uri, and we'll keep watching!

Great way of looking sharp ;P! And also chiseling both wood and your palm/mallet simultaneously! Just the tool I’ve been looking for.

I just freakin love you man. The awkwardness, randomness, your craftsmanship, the comedy and everything else that is your channel. The music you made for the skit, haha hilarious. I would love to have this chisel. I wouldn't need to carry my tool belt everywhere hahaha. I cant wait to see what you make next. Take care buddy

Back in the day. People took pride in making tools that where functional and a work of art. That's why i watch your video's. Your dry humor is icing on the cake.

Also you should make a stamp, kinda like what Alec Steel does to his projects. So like this one on the back you can brand it. Maybe even Date and number it. 🐦

I hope you have grandkids because you would be “The Grandpa of All Grandpas.” What’s next, a machete necktie, poison berry cuff links or maybe telescopic walking cane? Your videos are so much fun, you not only make me laugh but teach “patience”(you don’t think you have), excellent skills and attention to detail. A perfectionist I think you are, with an imagination second to no one. Thanks Uri. 👍👍👍

The perfect gift for🤔 the "Sharply dressed man in your life".😎 (I'm sure someone already said this, but I had to.) 😉 Also, after the throw, I"m a little disappointed we didn't get a "Tuchman, Uri Tuchman" with a Bond pose.😁

Wieder mal ein wunderbares Werkstück. Wieder mal frage ich mich, wie man auf solch eine Idee kommt. Und wieder mal habe ich mich am Schluß des Videos köstlich amüsiert über die spezielle Art von Humor. Genau das, was mich immer wieder fasziniert an diesem Kanal. Schöne Handwerkskunst und Unterhaltung..... 😁👍🏻

I would love to see you make another moving Automaton. That's what you called it. Also one of the reasons I subbed to you originally. Little did I know this would be one of my favorite channels. I also seen that video is one of your most viewed videos. It's would be cool if you made 2 of them or a double piece that worked together. Like rowing a boat, working a big saw through a log, or a railroad thing where the guys are on a seesaw kind of contraption. Just a few ideas. I just love watching you make stuff. So the longer the video, the better lol. For us anyway haha. I really enjoy watching everything you make, so im cool with whatever you build, I'm gonna watch. But that was one of my favorite videos. Hope you're doing well, can't wait to see what your brilliant mind comes up with next.

Me too, I love functioning art. That is art that does something instead of just sitting there looking pretty. Not that pretty art isn't great too, but as a person with an engineering directed mind, I like to see what other's come up with to make things work. You never know where you might draw inspiration from...

Always such a marvellous mix of pointlessness, skill and intrigue. Btw, “I don’t have the patience for it.”??? I can only imagine how long you spend using that hacksaw and files. At the very least, get yourself a reciprocating saw for the rough work. They’re definitely not very precise tool, but it’d save you a lot of time on material removal. Perhaps you could also adapt the end of a file to mount one in the reciprocating saw (a possible video idea 💡)

Tempering blades like that can be done fairly evenly if you make a bluing box, these are usually made from brass, but can be made from just about anything, as long as you fill it with brass swarf/chips My own box is just a small tin filled with about 25mm of medium sized brass/bronze flakes.
