Mam, Im 17 yrs old. I never had acne or any pimples from the beginning of my teenage. But few months ago I shaved my face for the first time. After that , I had this tiny little comedones all over my face. I tried all the natural ingredients and also face washes to clear it. But nothing worked. After that, I tried a serum that contains 2% salicylic acid + 2% Glycolic acid. Now Im using it since two weeks twice a week. My skin doesn't purge on the 1-2 applications but now my skin is purging like ever before. Iam having increased comedones and tiny red bumps all over my face. I don't know whether to continue it further or not. My skin is not purging all at once but gradually. But Im also noticing the reduction of whiteheads on my T zone. So I don't know whether to continue it or not. Im so scared that my purging is occuring gradually but not all at once. I don't know if I have to wait for my skin to completely turn over. But Im so scared about my skin's condition. Please share your opinion on this. It will be much helpful to me.

You should probably stop using everything as it might have damaged your skin barrier. Minimise your skincare routine by using a gentle cleanser a ceramide ot hyaluronic acid based moisturizer and a good sunscreen

i hope this message finds you well i know how it feels please dont let them take you down and trust the process dont use any active for while and every product i said was dermat approved and plus fragrance free for sensitivity iand dont use any powder or makeup ...i know how it feels to go to school with bare face but talc can damage more its time for your healing journey right . and make sure to change pillow case try to sleep on facing the ceiling , remove your sunscreen properly use micellar water from garnier or bio derma pink for both or use plum cleansing balm but this one contain fragrance since it is a cleanse off product it wont cause any major issue or you can just buy micellar gel face wash its like two in one you dont need the other wash in morning wash only with plain water but in night double cleansing this technique is really good and said to me by my dermat am; cleanse with water and use sunscreen please re apply after 2 hr and try to avoid the sun ,check uv index by asking google and wear extra protection that basis pm;cleansing balm or micellar water /gel wash ..snail mucin , face gel you can add niacinamide serum from minimalist but keepin it simple is the best...all this worked for me i hope it do wonders for your skin too

Please sterilize your facial razor equipment as well. And you can try nizoral shampoo. Since the breakout ocurred right after you shaved your face, it could mean you have fungal acne. When you newly shave your face your skin’s barriers could rupture leaving you vulnerable to infections (Very very minute chance but still) Nizoral shampoo with ketoconazole and zinc might help. Leave the shampoo on your face for a minute. Then wash off. Thats it. Moisturize and avoid too many products. Your skin needs to breathe. Skip shaving for now.

Micellar water vs oil cleanser which one is gud for double cleansing combo acne prone skin?

I think both are great, however this step is more about personal preference and budget. If you want to save money - micellar water is a better choice since I really dont like the quality of the cheaper oil cleanser. If you use heavy makeup - invest in a good oil based cleanser.
