Very nice! I like the red much better than silver. Did you also remove the chrome window trim? The SE would have had trim around the windows and on the window sills of the doors. If it had wood siding, it must have been a lot of work grinding off all the trim mounting pins down each side and on the hatch. I'd love to see it cleaned up and outside for a better look. I have a '78 Aspen base wagon with the Super Six and four speed OD. Love those wagons!

Unlike 76 and maybe 77, the 79 model has separate SE packages for interior and exterior. This one looks like interior only (which includes the woodgrain instrument bezel), but is missing exterior trim and woodgrain. The SE hood ornament and badges are actually part of the interior SE package.

Muy bonita tu wagon!! Acabo de comprar una del 1980 pero necesito hacer cambio de aceite, que tipo de aceite para motor es el que llevan las wagon?

5w30 is fine to use. No need for synthetic either. Standard oil is fine.

Tengo una del 78 una 1800... por reparar, me aconsejas hacerlo o ver otro motor, aunque me gusta el que trae (v8) pero el consumo de gasolina me hace pensar
