Was happy to hear you thank the golf ball! That s huge canvas! and a lot of paint! You did a wonderful job stretching it out. Would never have guessed how it was going to turn out, it’s beautiful! The touch of pink was perfect and rolling on the gold was exactly what the painting needed. Reminds me of exotics tropical flowers. Think I will get some golf balls and roll it over any painting I don’t like.

Hi Mina, I just love all your amazing art, and of course to listen to you and HOA, you complete each other! Anyways I would love to try this technique, I have only deco art paints, no paint place/studio, no flotrol or pouring medium.. Do you have any suggestions? I am very new to fluid art, can you tell? Lol please keep the art and video’s coming, you both have inspired me so much! Thank you both!
@MinaVillegasArt3 жыл бұрын
Hi Sherry! You can get one of those storage plastic tubs and put some dowels thru the sides a few inches down, then put your canvas on top of the dowels and pour that way. All the excess would drip into the tub 😉 I started with a washing machine drip pan on a folding table. As to pouring medium, you can use Elmer's glue all mixed with water, or just Floetrol, or get some Liquitex Pouring Medium and use it with Floetrol. You could also use paint and water only but that works best with something like a Dutch pour that is blown out with a blowdryer. In the very beginning, I recommend watching as many videos as you can to understand the basics. Finf some people you like and watch everything then pick a technique you love.. when youre ready you will do it. Remember that this is a journey, not a sprint. Have fun!
