I just started bingeing the Scott Patterson podcast -which I recommend waiting to do until you finish watching the series AND the reunion, AYITL, because there are spoilers galore over there- and he had Rune's actor, Max Perlich, on there discussing this episode. Ig he's friends with Johnny Depp IRL, and I learned that Max Perlich's mom is Linda Porter who appears in a few episodes of Gilmore Girls as well, so that's pretty neat 😂

dates seem awful to me. i think just the declaration that it's a date would 100% make me freeze up too. even if i had already enjoyed the persons company at work or something. the expectation that i have to be good company is too much for me. i need good times to just happen naturally or not on their own. i just can't force being social. i'd be like Beethoven kid - nothing to say. give me solitude and the internet any day.

I'm right there with ya. I'm terrible with interactions at the best of times. Dating is hard and just the worst. Which is why I'm alone and lonely... and I'm scared talking to devices is getting too common. I like typing. I could type-date. It would be easier though harder to truly connect with someone

I totally agree with you there! I can hang out easily with people and it's all fine and good but I'm not quite sure how a date would go. I think as long as we were doing something that wasn't dinner, I would probably be fine 🤣

@@eddied.3426 🤣🤣 I just feel like it’s really intense, especially as a first date. So many more opportunities for awkward silences and stuff whereas being out doing something, you can get to know someone but it feels more relaxed. I could just be making that up in my head though 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

Probably gonna get some stares, but I think Lane was a little dismissive and rude in this. The guy she was dating is obviously not a good match, but he wasn’t bad necessarily. Like he did light up at the talk of dogs and other things, which nowadays with the whole golden retriever boyfriend meme is sort of a plus. Idk, I like Lane a lot but her pretentiousness was showing a little. It made for a good bad date though. lol
