yea I'm thinking it's what youre alluding to with Harper but then they keep playing that it might have been something with the dad. so I'm torn on wether it was something that happened at the concert or did she try and tell Amerie at the concert and got like no response.

This show is so good with depth of characters. With the exception of a few, there are no bad characters. They all have good moments and bad moments which make it so realistic because they’re teenagers! This is one of my favorite shows to watch people react to and your reactions are no disappointment. I can’t wait to see you continue this series!

This has to be one of my all time favorite reactions to this episode. I felt so seen when you kept going “he’s gonna come back!” and then “not the fucking montage” 😂 And honestly same about needing help, I have not cried as much in my life as I did watching this episode 🫠

Luke wrestling a minor is not cool. Very crazy. The strawberries... sure. Tristan... ick indeed. One should not follow blindly. Even when liking or loving someone should have the strength of will to call them out when they are being a-holes (but then, will power is not my strength usually so who am I to talk?). Great intentions here but seriously? I'm fascinated by the background noises in your reaction video. And something destracted you on your left there... my guess it's raining and a pigeon slammed into the window trying to get in...

I sort of understand the viewpoint that it's an outlandishly comedic show and it's fiction. Though we could say that and justify the actions of any character on any show doing whatever they want, right? I dunno, I'm very biased, as parent of teenagers myself. 🙈 I just think, if a grown man put his hands on my kid in that manner in a similar situation, I probably wouldn't be calm about it. 😅 But then again, I'm also an overprotective parent and I know that, so there's probably a lot of moms out there who would be totally chill with it, I guess. 🤷🏻

I've watched this show like 3 times n i enjoy it every time. The only wrong thing about it is that it's too short for sure. It's such an enjoyable show n if you're into history it also depicts some Irish historical events as well. Gonna enjoy your journey reacting to the girls, n James

he was not beating him up tho 😅 there were no punches or anything, he just did not want to let him walk to the diner. It was more of a silly wrestling match to make sure his path was blocked. No one got hurt. Also it's partly a comedy show, it is not that deep in this context (imo)

I think that’s the whole thing- I don’t view the ‘wrestling’ as beating him up. I viewed it as a comedic wrestle to stop him from coming in after he’d been told he wasn’t welcome in there and continued to proceed 🤷🏻♀️🤣

@@danilo1920 tbh, even if Rory would tell everyone not to hate on Dean, everyone still would have because the town loves her so much. Rory did not want to be broken up and I think up to the kiss with Tristan she was in denial and just wanted to feel some form of love in that way (complicated teenager impulse decisions). I agree she shouldn't have kissed him (also because he is just such an ass), but I get where she's coming from as she is an emotional teenager who is experiencing all these bigass emotions for the first time and not knowing what to do with herself. Dean did not deserve that at all, but he was wrong for breaking up with her for not saying "i love you" back right away. But I get what you mean and I see your point.

In a way, i thonk, Carmy would've liked the review to be bad so that he could move on with his life, that's why he reacted the way he did, he knows hos stress, trauma n all that will continue lol. That's my interpretation from that moment

Idk- I personally saw it as a funny wrestle due to the nature of the show and wasn’t taking it too seriously. 🤷🏻♀️ if this show wasn’t very comedic maybe I would see it differently.

@@ryannrodkey5669 Yeah, don't fret - they literally recreated a situation from everyone's childhood where the kid is trying to take something forbidden and the adult has to hold them until they give up. This was basically Luke holding a teenager from a cookie jar which the teenager is trying to reach out of spite after being told it's forbidden. They were not fighting. I hope you don't let others make you feel bad for enjoying a scene that was very much cued as a comic relief.

i love the luke dean scene. absolutely hilarious and cute in his over the top reaction. it was really a harmless wrestle. no-one was exactly trying to throw any punches or slam anyone head first into the ground. the aim of the wrestle was to prevent movement not to inflict pain. just the right level of ridiculousness to create hilarity and show us how much he cares about rory. i can't fathom the negative nellies who can't handle stuff like this. it was so much fun to watch.

I agree completely! I think the problem comes from trying to apply real-world logic to a show that is demonstrably full of over-the-top comedy. 😂 Folks take such things too much at face-value nowadays.

Just finished the third season and started the fourth. Yes, there are four as of now. The third one wasn't as good as previous two, but mainly, because couple of characters didn't sit well with me. Love the reaction btw.
