(I forgot to mention earlier) I used to play this a lot in Kewadin casino, awesome game, they called it Pitch up there. Cards in hand is awesome too, up North we'd cardscratch the table for hits, and put the cards under the bet for stays, I honestly wish this game was in Caesars or Motorcity. Hey, you seem like you don’t play the pitch blackjack so much, but just some tips, when you wanna stay keep the cards faced down and tuck the corners under the chips. When you want to hit, scrape the cards on the table. If you have blackjack or wanna double, split, etc. then you can face them up and say what you want to do

Most casinos split the tips of the dealers, however you can always call them to confirm their specific policies!

just an honest question. What is the point in dealing the players card face down? If other players were to join (I know you can't in this case), are they not allowed to see other players card? It still not going to change the house edge. Seems to be there's a lot of unnecessary overhead in fliping and re-arranging, etc.

I believe it’s dealt facedown to prevent counting, as it’s much easier to count with fewer decks.

LOL I love you but you literally didn’t listen to his directions LOL all good :-) I love double deck I always tell people the best thing to remember is hold the cards until you’re done with them then if you take the corner and slide it under the chips it goes right there… There’s actually no hand motions at all and double deck blackjack . the way you tuck your cards let the dealer know you are good , scrap the cards if you need a hit .… You flip them over when you have a split double or Blackjack… good work :-) more blackjack videos

I’m thankful for the content, I miss playing in Deadwood. Play your money how you want, I’m just a KZbin commenter, I wanted to point out that it’s slightly annoying to watch someone bet $100 in green, when they have black, that they break down to green, only to bet $100 in green again, and ask for black, which they then break down to green to bet $100 with. Either betting the black when betting $100 or simply not asking for black that is likely to be broken down again would solve the problem. Maybe I’m the only one bothered by this, but I don’t think I am.

Hi, when your losing it’s better to change your game play. For example if you have a fourteen or fifteen and the dealer is showing an eight or face card, don’t hit every hand. Good chance they have a small card and they will bust. This changes the cards up and bring the good cards back to you.

What is the timestamp you are referring to? According to basic strategy, you should double a 10 or 11 against an 8. I hope that helps.
