Looks really good! I love roguelites/likes and am currently playing ember knights. Kinda wish this was a normal action game as it would be easier to play with friends who arent into the genre but Ill grab it anyway.

Thanks for the review - that’s definitely helpful. It’s a shame that they went the roguelike/roguelite route and emphasized currency and unlockables. I was thinking about picking this one up but looks like I’ll either replay II NES and IV (2017) instead or beat SoR IV and Final Vendetta again.

There's a Double Dragon collection coming out which contains the first 4 games along with Double Dragon Advance and Super Double Dragon. Comes out November 9. I just read about it. I like Super Double Dragon and Double Dragon Advance is a very good game. It states that only the Sweet will get a physical copy while there others will be digital.

@ZacTheFirst far too late. Finding a game online is almost impossible. By the time it released, I think a lot of people had moved on. Still one of my favorite games of the year, but should have been far more active if enabled at launch

This is a Wayforward Double Dragon game, isn't it. My beef with these is that they rarely feel like Double Dragon. Remember Neon? In what way is this friggin' game Double Dragon? I feel similarly about River City Girls. If you want a genuine River City Ransom experience, warts and all, play River City Underground instead.

It's not by Wayforward but I agree that it doesn't look like a Double Dragon game in terms of looks and feel. I did enjoy Neon though for what it was and this looks different but also like it might be fun too.
